Best 600W MH??

OK...I run 2 600W conversion bulbs in veg. NOT HAPPY...lol. Anyone got a recommendation on a GOOD MH, NOT conversion bulb? In a 600W? It seems hortilux only has 600W in conversion. My room is 4x8 for veg, so I cant jsut use 1kw. Dont care about expensive, this is something I dont like to get cheap...Grow with cheap equip, get shitty pot...
Ideas?

Hilux Gro 600w MH is quality. Its made in germany.

Construction looked much better then sunleaves optilume mh.

I ran into the same thing as you, no 600wMH except for conversion bulbs.
I'm using a 600w Sunmaster conversion bulb, no problems except heat, it's in an open hood. That was ok in winter when the basement was a balmy 42 degrees (kept mom room at steady 80) but now I need to cut back to 18hrs only.
I do think that T.Baggins my have just hit a home run with the sunpulse lamps link.

Thank for the heads up on Sunpulse Lamps and the link to them.
Very nice looking bulb, I just need to find where I can get one.
I am already using a Lumitek ballast (sunpulse certified) so all I really need is the bulb.
Looking forward to trying one out.

(BTW, normally I would have addressed you and WT on the same post, but as a newbie here, I'm shamelessly trying to get to 50)

The Hilux Gro hybred bulbs are very interesting too. I shy away from that company because of some business dealings with them many years ago. It had nothing to do with grow lights, but it had to do with manufacturing defect that showed up in lamps puchased for warehouse lighting by my company. The mangement of that company, at that time, where aholes. Enough said.

..or just run one 600 on a light rail, if its for veg, or a 2x600 single room flip flop..... do you think you need 1000 watts to veg? also, I've had no problems veg'n under a hps "orange" bulbs.

Quick up date on Sun Pulse PSHM bulbs, in particular the 600watt.

There is onlly one source for these bulbs in the USofA, Nutual Harvest Marketing located in Woodstock,NY.

ATT, according to thier website the only Temp.K in 600w is a 10K. They are out of both 3K and 6.4K.

In 1000watt, they have all temps available including the 6.4K.
They are aprox $158/ea.

Light rail time WT!......if you want to use a PSMH bulb.
