Best 2x600w Tent Yield???

In your experience/opinion, what is the best number of plants, and size of pots, to maximize yield in a 4x8 tent?

Scrog and you should get 1gpw of quality. 6 plants for an average veg of up to 8 weeks sometimes up to 12 weeks depending on variety. Or more plants less veg time. It's all relative.

Most efficient use of space and easy in a tent under 2 600's, canopy nice and even and very productive. Pot size for flowering should be 50l if 6 plants. 8 plants 35l etc if organic/soil grower.

Lotta factors to consider. If your only concern is yield, a SOG grow with a proven clone will outperform just about anything else. Depends if you can or are willing to handle 50 - 100 plants.
Most growers in this situation would go the scrog route as mentioned above. Plant #s, veg time etc, will vary. But thats a good place to start.

Is a 4x8 too big for a 2x600w garden? Not looking to go vertical.

I run 2k over a 4x8. So the 600's will be no problems.

35l pots with 4 under each light..same size tent as me and 2 x 600 give enough light and spread to have a productive scrog...put the net about 12 inches above the pots and all is good.. Some great scrog grows on here.

Whats up Marlo! Vert Godfather right there.

I ran a whole slew of different Bodhi strains through my tent, one 4x4 that at one point ran a 1000W vertical in it and then a 600W vertical.

I stacked the sides of the tent and had two levels with two plants per side. So i had 16 plants in 5 gallon pots sitting on 2x4 frames I built. Some were in smaller pots, a few 3 gallon or so.

I ran that set up and each side yielded at least a QP with the weakest of strains and up to a HP with my heavy hitters.

My gallery has a few pics when I first got started, that set up is since down but treated me well while it lasted.

I know you mentioned no vert, but then again, why not? I loved it.

So 2x600w side by side, air cooled should be fine, I'm not spreading the light out to much? Also, what hoods do you recommend? I was thinking the Sun System magnum hoods. Looking to get a good light footprint.
