Thought I would wonder over here to the soil section!!

Yes..Yes... I do grow in soil!!
With switching over to buckets ...I am kinda between set-ups/grows. I started some different things in soil awhile back and have put them to flower.

This is the berry thread for me...... We have.........

1- Strawberry Cough.... started 12/12 on Nov 10th. Had a minor light leak in the room the first week with her. She is starting to pick up now. I think I slowed her or screwed her up a little.




2- Raspberry Cream.... started 12/12 on Nov 22nd. One a little taller then the other ...but both have ALOT of inner branching and future bud sites.




2- Strawberry Cough ....started 12/12 on Nov 27th. Both are at about 3' plus when placed to flower. Both have been topped twice and clones taken from them. These two should finish big!!





Last but not least....Blueberry Thes seeds were purchased off of Seedbay and only two survived the storms. One was male and the other female. She has grown into a beutiful plant. She has been pinched a few times here and there. Hoping to get some great colors off of here late in flower!!



I need to keep something going while messing with a new system. You can always rely on soil. Very forgiving and doesn't need the daily attention I have to give my hydro grows.

So ....stick around and check back in........ I will update as things develope and blossom!!!

Ohh..yeah....
They are sharing 2-1000w HPS lights. I have them where my buckets are going to flower. I won't switch the buckets for another 2 weeks. I also have a 2' GWS in soil.......so I have a total of 7 plants under 2000w of HPS. Should be enough light

I am feeding them Ionic nutes with some Cal-Mag. Will give them some kind of bloom booster when time comes. Not sure what yet.

I just got my Subscription to Berrylicious.... looks promising.... Bout time you dropped it like its hot! That bio taste is always something I enjoy.... but then again Hydro taste is good too.... Best of Both Worlds

hey harry.......

I just use the old tray and dome method. Put them under a 4' floro and mist the lids once a day. I never water the actual RW cube.

what happened? Did you drain the city's water supply with all those hydro buckets . Do you notice a difference in the taste of your weed grown in hydro. I have heard that hydro weed doesn't have as much taste as soil grown weed, but I don't know if there is any truth to it or just an old wives tale. Someday I would like to do a side by side grow (cloned off the same plant) one in soil and one in hydro.

Dr. D........ Thanks for stopping by! To be honest...I am using some of my Ionic nutes that I use for my hydro systems. I will also use just plain old Peter's and some fish emulsion.... a little Epsom Salt. No matter what I use I always pH balance the water and give them a proper PPM rate, depending what stage there in.

cough_cough_eer.....If that water runs out....I am definetly in trouble!! Just doing some soils to keep the personal smoke jars filled!! Changing over from tables to buckets and saw I was going to hit a lag in harvest. eeekkkk!!! Can't have that happen!! :friends:
I have never really noticed a taste difference between the two. I flush really good with my hydro. I should do a side by side comparrison one day.

The one SC is starting to bloom.....She will be the first one done. This is day 25 I believe.....




I can't wait for this Blueberry.......should have some great colors towards the end.......Huge fan leaves.

Here is a pic of the one at day 35 of flower. No smells as of yet.





These two are at 19 days of flower. Tall and starting to fill in nicely...






Here is the Blueberry. She is very dark green....and looking great. Gonna have 6 or 7 main colas.....I snapped two knecks the other day.





There are Two Raspberry Cream. One is a little shorter then the one shown. The one pic of bottom of plant is the other one. It is like one big ball of branches and flowers. Gonna have to thin these two out.
