bent stem on main cola

so i had to move my babies temp. well i guess there not realy babies. they are actualy 30-40 days into flower and abouyt 50 inches tall tree style soil. So the main cola on two of the plants got bent; it did not break but it bent and needed to be staked to stay up. my question is will it survive? i know if it was in veg it would be like supercropping, but at this point what will be the effect? am i better off taking that nug off and salvaging what i can before it completely dies or will it grow back bigger or will it stunt the growth? thanks for any advice.

Youre fine Bro.People just say dont bend or SC in Bloom, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do.It will come right back .I get Hazes or Sats that outgrow the canopy in flower sometimes, and i bend em with no ill results at all.But as long as it didnt brake, you should try to give it some kind of support, poles ,string or whatever just to keep it safe n let her go.. Peace and stay safe,PVP :joint:

I know people who do it in flower, I don't like to, but it won't make a big difference, however, to say the plant doesn't use extra energy to repair that during flower would not be correct IMO

Haaaaaaaaaaa I love that avatar Jack.
The first time I saw that gif (in someones signature at another site) I slapped my monitor thinking it was a real bug.

You're correct, it will use some energy to repair or callous over the bend, forming kind of a knuckle in the stem... but it's not really all that harmful.

It will use extra energy, but you wont be like ,damn that buds goin slower now or that isnt growing as good as the others. The notice would be so small it isnt going to hurt yer grow in the least. But yeh,any damage or healing a plant has to deal with is gonna take some extra ooomfhh, did i spell that right?lol.Peace and stay safe,PVP. :joint:

I had several of them happen almost like that and IMO I think they did as well or better than some of the others

na it didnt make it leaves where all wilted this morning so i just cut it off as it was obviously dead as a door nail. i think it snapped though more then bent. no biggie i guess the bottom will get bigger. The other one that only bent seems ok so far...

Medical tape is better to use; never use duct tape!
Ya super cropping is when they pinch the branch areas to make them grow stronger stems and more sites If I remember correctly.]

I had a plant busted 3/4 through main stem it finished fine. I didn't do $hit. I will take the credit. Later during flowering it could be a mess.
