Greetings,

Have got some Ace Gear growing for a while and finally took the time to transplant them in 11l fabric pots and move them in the main space (Homebox Q100 with 2 SANlight EVO-3 100).

2023S7_Group Shot.jpg
Soil is a mix of Biocanna, worm casting, lava powder, mycorrhizae and BAC buffer tabs. I watered them with BAC Root Stimulator, sannies bacto and Biotabs Orgatrex. I'll be giving them CalMag once a week as well since I'm growing under LED's.

The plan is to top them tomorrow and then keep 8 secondary branches per plant before flipping to 11/13.

Oaxaca x Panama (lost the previous mom so that's another one than previous grows)

Ohh wow what a nice line up! I'll be following this one. :lurk:The setup sounds also very promising. Are they all clones or are some of them seed plants? I have one Honudras x A5haze in flower and it's a stretchy beast.

All clones and I feel they will be all quite stretchy indeed :). Not that I mind anyway, got 170cm height clearance or so (using inline filter and EC inline fan out of the tent) and those SANlight got crazy light penetration (1040 µmol/s together).

So let's LST those girls. I planned to keep four branches then top said branches after two nodes for 8 total (vineyard goblet style) but maybe I just let them fill the net, cut their apex and flip to flowering, will see how they progress.

Nevermind the damaged leaves, had to spray insecticide/acaricide a couple times. Will do so again a couple time before flipping as well as water with nematodes for sciarids (biocanna isn't vapour sterilized) to hopefully get a flowering without pests like last time...

More pruning and 2 weeks later, and it's already a freaking mess :)

Photo-period has been lowered this week from 18/6 to 15/9, 13/11 and then finally 11/13 tonight. I'll probably go down 10/14 later down the road.

Some strains seem to show some sign of overfeeding. That soil mix might be a bit too rich. I'll only give them water, root/bloom stimulator and maybe some Regulator despite the silicon from the worm-casting.

Morning,

10 days into 11/13, it is becoming quite a jungle now. They are starting to define bud sites. The plants seem healthy so far. No bites marks on the leaves, that's what I'm fearing the most. I really hope not to get a spider mites invasion like last time. I have some fungus gnats but I have some nematodes in the fridge, just waiting for a Honduras x A5 clone to root so I can treat everything in one go (flowering and mother's tent).

They do indeed :). I haven't grown anything but Ace Seeds the last 5 years: Zamaldelica, Snow Moon, Malawi x PCK, Panama x PCK, Tikal, Orient Express, Panama x Malawi, Killer A5, Oaxaca x Panama, Purple Pakistani Haze, Green Haze x Malawi, Oaxaca x A5, Kali China, Nepal Annapurna x Nepal Mist, Nepal Mist x Nepal Annapurna, Mountain Gold, Zacateca Tribute, Purple Satellite. I also grew Bangi Haze and Nepal Jam outdoor like 15-20 years ago. I must say I have never been disappointed. I lost a whole lots of them though. Only Zamaldelica, Killer A5, Oaxaca x A5 and Panama x Malawi ultimately made it through the police busting and the rough months after that. Well I have a shitload of seeds so there is that...

Anyway, I'm pretty eager to vape those ones running :). I quit tobacco like 3 years ago and smoking a couple months ago, using a Mighty+ now.

Wow that’s a tonne of seeds you be popping 😊
Hope you find some keepers.

Yeah I did but as I said, I lost lots of them to a police raid...

In all that seeds, which ones were the more memorable?
- Malawi x PCK: really powerful and super tasty
- Orient Express: Vietnam Black pheno from an Ace Mix, a friend of a friend flowered her for like 16 weeks, the taste was pretty awesome. Very floral... Well pretty much all floral
- Green Haze x Malawi: the first pure Haze hybrid I grew, really strong shit and like wandering down a spices market alley
- Tikal: Strong peach/strawberry aroma, a lots of friends loved it
- Mountain Gold and Zacateca Tribute: Tropical, close to no ceiling strains
- Oaxaca x Panama: Strong lavender smell, creative uplifting high
- Panama x Malawi: A festival of terpenes, one of my favourite strains
- Zamaldelica Zamal/Thai pheno (the same I still have): Very psychedelic. The kind of strains you don't want to smoke before going to bed if you plan to sleep...
- Killer A5: Slighlty like a beginning of Golden Teachers trip when the lights start to lighten the scene. Or maybe it brought some acid/shrooms flashback from couple weeks before that... After all, marakesh butter in smashed potatoes made the floor go wavy, that was unexpected but fun :p

So good, I've got two in flowering at the moment :)

Your plant looks perfect, I hope they will vape as they look. I'm quite curious about A5 crosses and how they turn out, I'll be following your thread.

A5 and Haze crosses got quite stretchy. Nothing surprising but I wonder if I shouldn't have flip sooner... I should know, it's not like it's my first rodeo with Ace's sativas :). Amnesia Haze x Panama seems lost between Purple Pakistani Haze and Honduras x A5... I don't think she will yield very much.

23 days into flowering, looks like they are done stretching. Flowers are starting to develop. Some leaves are doing some curling downwards but I see no bites mark so hopefully that's not spider mites. Maybe it's the fungus gnats, they got some nematodes this morning so hoefully that will solve the issue.

Thanks man, I sure hope so too :).

Too bad the Amnesia Haze x Panama didn't really break through the canopy. Those A5 and OTH hybrids really stretched a lot. Nothing surprising about that, guess I should have expected it... Well, she's still getting enough light but she didn't get as much bud sites as the other ones.

I don’t think that will be possible considering she is growing through 2 scrog nets. I would just end up breaking branches trying that.

Flip + 31 days. I definitely over-fertilized them. Zamaldelica, Purple A5 Haze and Honduras x A5 clearly show sign of too much Nitrogen. I hope it's nothing they can't recover from. Probably some leaflet tips burnt because a bit too much PK as well. They are only drinking CalMag (BAC so there is a bit of N), Bloom Stimulator and enzymes producing bacterias at the moment.

By the way, smells are getting incredible in there :). They really seem to like the new LEDs setup. Previous run was also under those SANlight but it was a disaster. I ain't growing organic in coco ever again, that was the stupidest idea in the realm of stupid ideas :p
