benefits and drawbacks from crossing an f1 hybrid to an s1?

Im considering dusting a pineapple express cutting with some f1 hybrid pollen but I'm thinking the pineapple express was selfed. Its a super dank pheno but am concerned about messing with it if its an s1. I'm wondering if problems are gonna arrize with the Hermie traits?

What are the benefits and drawbacks from crossing an f1 hybrid to an s1?

I'm curious too. I suspect it depends on the variety, some more prone to undesirable traits than others. Hopefully someone has some experience with this and will share.

There's no reason why a modern S1 should be any more hermi prone than any other plant. Go ahead and dust away

Do it & keep mom around while ya search through the results.

You'll likely find some dank plants & possibly a nice male to hit mom with again for more of the pineapple express traits, if you so desire.

Males are just as much fun to watch grow as the ladies.

i dusted a white s1 with white fire alien , just grew out a 75 no issue at all with any.
