Hello,

I have recently moved to Bellingham, Washington (4 months ago)...and I am wondering, what do I have to look forward to? I am not asking for a source, I am simply asking - Does it get better?

I've been getting the same garbage no matter who I get it from. I've used up 3-4 pairs of shoes walking around downtown asking random people for weed...I've bought from 9 different sources, including homeless people, and I'll tell you, it's all the same. I like to call it "Popcorn Weed" because of the small size.

I am stuck in a situation now, where I have a steady source through another party, that likes to tax me 1.5-2g on every 1/2oz I buy for the privilege of "having him get it for me". I am spending $120 for 14g bags. It's the same crap every time, and it appears that the buds have been shook free of their exterior trichomes before being bagged up - there are never any visible hairs...EVER. No one even knows what the hell they are selling either...it's mindblowing.

All of this after moving from Corvallis, OR, and being spoiled with golf-ball sized nuggets of "Morningstar", "Jack Herer", and "Trainwreck".

I can't go to Canada (it's 20 min away), they won't let me in because of a felony conviction almost 7 years ago. To make matters worse, I am out on bond right now, so a careless mistake could cost me everything.

Here are a few pics of the slag that I have been getting. There are no seeds, but it's trash. Sometimes it has been bricked up, sometimes not...but always, it smells the same...like a pocket that carried GOOD weed several weeks earlier. I am going to guess that this crap is "BC BUD"?

Do things in Bellingham get better? Are there any known strains here? Thanks for reading.

I've thought about that, and, after asking my fellow Oregonians, they are totally unwilling to do that for me.

I guess I am not in the right circle of people or something along those lines...I've always had a hard time making friends. Thanks for the advice.

LOL, that's what I heard, and much of the reason I chose to move to where I did.

I also checked "webehigh . com" which said similar things.

I figured "You know what? ****ing 20 minutes from Canada, and also in the top 3 of weed producing states, I should be able to scare up some good stuff"...but it's not working out that way.

Finding a "bro in the know" is the hard part. Everyone here is so damn covetous...not at all like any of the last 11 states I've lived in.

A $40 ounce bag of mexi-brick in cali, was 5x more satisfying than the "mids" I am getting now.

Perhaps you can send me a good instructional URL which shows the proper way to tie a noose?

Because I am on "bond" (bail)...I am not even allowed to leave the county overnight. Assuming I violated bail with a weed charge, where the normal person would be out on bail in 24 hours, I would rot in jail for up to a couple of years while my current court case plays out.

Even a speeding ticket would get me arrested, and put in jail for violating bond, should I get one outside of my county.

I agree with you on all points. I don't know what I am doing wrong though. I've done just about everything in the "Big Book of How to Find Dope"...and it works, almost everytime. Finding dope is NOT the problem. Finding GOOD dope IS the problem. Perhaps I could even settle for more shit dope, as long as it was DIFFERENT shit dope.

I don't expect a lot of understanding from a majority of users on this forum, because they are either growers, or have been friends with growers for a long time, and don't have to worry about the problems which haunt me, but please, try to understand.

Since I've moved here, and got into trouble with the law, I've started drinking like crazy, because the weed here just doesn't cut it...if anything, it causes problems. You can see my other posts in the "Cooking with" section, on where I just started eating it. The weed I get is so bad, that I eat it now. How do you like them apples?

I got some Valium from a friend yesterday, and now I am on my third day of not drinking...I'll make it this time if I get some real weed that will make me retarded at night, so that I don't stay up all 4am thinking "I can't wait to go to prison for 7 MORE years".

For those of you that might not know where Bellingham is, check out this picture. Simply locate the I5 and follow it NORTH to Canada. Even Seattle is a 5-6 hour drive with traffic taken into consideration.

I've been in Washington for a little over a year and I go to one of the med clubs since I don't know anyone here. The weed is just as you describe, shit! I am amazed at what they sell here. I wish I had a good connection here at least until my grow is ready around Christmas. This is supposed to be the land of the killer kind so where is it people???

Well, thanks for the reply. It makes me feel slightly less alien. I just drove down to Seattle yesterday, and went to the little park across from the Pike Place Market that overlooks the freeway...just like webehigh suggested.

I was able to get something in less than 10 minutes...I got an 1/8th...of even WORSE shit, that was the same as the Bellingham shit, but was:

A. Wet
B. Not trimmed up
C. 6 Seeds for an 1/8th

All in all, it had no smell at all, like the cockroach weed I get in Bellingham, and little to no effect.

I declare shenanigans...someone is so full of shit, that their eyes are brown.

I wasn't even AWARE of medclubs here.

I have the generic form that I printed out, and had signed by my doctor as soon as I moved here for Chapter 69.51A RCW of Washington's Medical MJ law.

Is the cannabis at the clubs garbage also?

Thanks so much for this information. Sleepy is what I need. I'd cut off my pinky for an ounce of "Black Dominia" or something similar. I am in such mental anguish, that I make my wife drive with me everywhere, so that I don't jerk the wheel into a concrete truck.

Not to get off topic, but how does it work there? Do they just want to see your medical file with the paperwork that satisfies 69.51A RCW? I'll hit that page up as soon as I finish this reply.

I am tired of messing with the VA hospital. I am a goddamn disabled combat vet, and they treat me like shit, charging 25 dollars a bottle for meds that cost 7 bucks without insurance at a normal pharmacy. To top it off, they are all OLD meds, that cause diabetes, and all kinds of other problems. I am at a 40% disability rate right now, and it's all mental, and I can't even get a ****ing appointment with a shrink. They wouldn't even give me "Librium" for actute alcohol withdrawl, so I wouldn't have goddamn seizures...I had to buy valium off of the street to stop drinking. How insane.

I live on 500 bucks a month, no welfare...my parents are helping with food. What kind of prices are you paying at these places?

It does suck having the straightedge person appearance sometimes, especially when trying to score weed. I do my best to 'fit in' with everybody else so people who aren't my friends do't know i smoke. It was sooo much easier when i had my long-ass hair because people would just approach me all the time.

Have you tried wearing marley or grateful dead clothes to the colleges? SOmetimes you have to overplay it.

If nothing else just do what you've been doin and ask kids that look like stoners.

Thanks for the advice man. I don't have any clothing like that, but when I go out and ask random people, I bring my wife, and SHE wears stuff like that. She's too shy to ask someone by herself. I think she would have had great luck asking other girls. It would be super odd to a random girl on the street, if some bald steroided freak ran up to her and asked her for weed.

I had a chance to look up some drug laws here, and it turns out that weed is pretty damn illegal here, for any amount. It was ignorant of me to assume that as you started in California and went up, that each state got more progressive until you finally landed in Alaska.

Well Since you have no PMing capabilities yet, and I have just now stumbled upon this thread. I am from Bellingham. Born about 90 miles south of here in Redmond, moved here when 3... been here since. I would like to let you in on some of the ins and outs of MJ in this little town. I am not so sure that this is age dependant, but I am assuming you and the missus are around 25-35.
I will start off with the place you mentioned first... Downtown, now I am not sure how this is for most towns but all I have to say is... read previous posts of mjolnir... this is the town schwag... I don't wipe myself with it... next up on the chain is texas street area pot... It might take more to catch a buzz than downtown schwag. Near WWU is where it is at when you know nobody!!! Sehome Haggens leads alot of college kids in and therefore the party comes down too (Stoned college kids eat a LOT)... It is too bad that you aren't seeing the true marijuana this luschious land has to offer. I recently(tonight actually) finished off my last 1/8th of Trainwreck and Mr. Nice from a new guy I just met who seems to be pretty in on the hookups. Most weed people have for sale is work as we call it... and yes I will admit that I have always been a bit of a weed snob (not nearly to the extent of my buddy). The only downside is the cost of it... I have gotten all but used to paying 50 an 8th, granted I dont need the quantity I did before as it is a higher quality... but you get buddies around and you might as well burn your 50$ bill cause some strains make you forget your entire smoke out...
