Beginning of 12/12 boring?

I am now on day 7 12/12 on my first grow. When should I expect things to get interesting? I have a female that showed sex a few days ago, but nothing has really happened since. Same first few hairs and they haven't grown at all. The plant is stretching a bit is all. The other 2 still haven't shown definite sex. I realize this is all probably normal, just making sure.

Any input is much appreciated

during the 1st 2-3 wks of 12/12 the plant dosent seem to really do much except stretch small thumb size nugs will form. but after the stretch he he they grow and fatten up just nicely

yeah it kinda just happens over night....just wham...hairs everywhere.

Give it a few weeks. A plant ususally takes a few days to aclimate itself to the new light schedule, then you will see the plant start to show it's flowering stage (lotsa hairs and small buds) then about 2 weeks after that the buds will start to dramatically increase in size.

I agree the 1st 2 weeks of flowering are quite boring. Use that time to make sure that your nute regiment and general health of the plants are in good shape.

curious as to the age of your plants ... if grown from seed, you shouldnt force flowering until plant has matured ... watch for alternating stems, thats when its time ... from clones, you can flower whenever ...

From my experiances there are 3 stages to flowering.

1- the first few hairs, plant stretches.

2- the fill in. all the spaces start filling in, this is when it starts geting exciting.

3- the SWELL, all of the existing buds start to swell up big time.

remember not to harvest too early. When you think they are done- wait 1 more week.

They were 6 wks when put into flower, all ready to go. 1 male showed very quickly and was chopped when I was %100 certain. The female that has shown was about a day or two behind the fast male. They are both the same strain, the 2 I don't know yet are different than the 2 that showed quickly. I thought the slower two would show first because they are Bogglegum and I thought it tended to show sex quicker than most.

Some exciting weeks are coming up for me

Oh yeah one more question, do things tend to happen mostly during the dark cycle or light cycle? Or is it the same?
