Good eye, fred the shed. The one and only.

BC C, nice to see you're maintaining order. You make it look easy. It's surprising the plant hasn't push that screen up any farther than it has.

nice scrog...cant believe thats 1 plant lol. check out my 150 closets and let me know your final weight...i average around 3-4 zones per run in the 150 watt closets...biggest issue is light penetration and gettting those lower nugs enough shine....maybe before harvest just pull those top colas, then let the plant run another week or two to beef up the bottom ones..

Good point. I'd like to opine I haven't benefited from dual harvest/additional-time as much as thinning the degree of crowded growth. In my experience, squig is squig in a quantitative sense. However, trich ripeness (quality) can benefit. But it's as subjective as defoliation of fans only. One has to determine their own, to a degree.

BC Chronic, I was checking out the little feller. IMO, it's not weak nutes, it's a deficiency. Generally speaking, the onset of Mg def is the purple hue apparent in the fan veins. That "hue" is just as often green. Mg def advances into fade of the tissue between the veins. Progression will wax into more pronounced fade and fan tips will "burn" for lack of a better word. Not burn in the traditional sense, it appears burned. Not unlike K def.

What's interesting is that a classic Mg def starts at the bottom and works up. While your situation isn't textbook Mg def, it could still be a pH issue. While charts that indicate absorption levels (might) not be consistent with every grower, Mg defs usually or often occur when pH is too low. How fast the condition progresses might indicate how much adjustment is needed. ATM, I'm experiencing the opposite condition. If I understand correctly, too high pH causes crinkled and or twisty leaves.

You're fine if it doesn't progress. Again, my experience is, if left alone, conditions can manifest into dead fans.

IMO, the mix looks peat heavy. It's a great medium, just hotter than than loam, clay and sand. If by chance you didn't add lime, a high percentage of peat could be the cause. Growing in high percentage of peat is often as easy as doubling the amount of lime. That's a general tip, I'd graduate "doubling" until it's dialed in.

Been doing a bit of experimenting with this girl lots of cloning going on. If it"s of interest i"ll post a few pics up of her and a couple of her babies.
But at the end of the day i don"t wanna hijack BC s thread.

hey everyone...
Thanks Yes4Prop215!!! thats great advice...my issue is the ton of leaves up top...isn't that what I don't want?? should I trim some and where do I start???
Thanks DiscoBiscuit!!! I need to do something about light penetration up top don't I? I know I can't cut all the leaves off but some have to go...I cant even reach the back cola's/leaves!! you are right about nute burn...I was feeding the TW full strength nutes and gave the clone that instead of light nutes....should I just flush her out?? I do have Final Flush solution...thanks again!!
thanks staff11!!! Originally my bro got the seeds from GHS...he's been growing TW for awhile but had a power outage which resulted in some hermies...I got a dozen seeds and everyone has been a female!! what are the odds of that!!
Hey PanchoBuddah!!! now she's big AND stinky!! You have no idea of the smell of this strain!! a mix of dirty socks and feces...no kidding either...fiveleggedgoat has a review of TW and he says the same..its worth the stink for the final product!!
hey fred the shed!!! Don't ever think you are hijacking my thread bro!! I really enjoy others comments/input/pics etc!!! so post them all here!!!
Ghostwolf!!! My bro!! thanks bro!! Its day 31 today of bloom so 30 days or so..at the most!!
Day 31 of Bloom...
picture.php

just thought I'd post a pic of the main stalk..:) its as big as my thumb.....
picture.php

these are my 3 secret weapons..I guess its not a secret now:)from the left is Carboload which as any bodybuilder would tell you, it beefs you up!! thats what it does to this magical plant..BigBud is in the middle...and BudBlood to the far right...those 3 together with my fav PB Pro work very well together..I had pistils 6 days after I flipped using BudBlood...usually its 2 weeks!!
picture.php

this is the top of the Fimmed clone...let me know what you see because all I see is 1 stem growing out again...:comfort:
not much change from yesterday so I posted these other pics:)
thanks for the feedback everyone!!!
take care

BC Chronic, topping creates two shoots where one used to be. Fim doesn't create 4 shoots at the same node. What fim does is compact the node length, meaning that the top two nodes (2 + 2) appear as 4. You could get the same thing by topping twice but the node length won't compact. What happens when we fim is the top node stresses to the point that the second node catches up to the top.

IMO, you didn't overfeed. The "burn" I was speaking of is in an advanced Mg deficiency which you haven't yet reached. If left alone, the tips will look burned from overfeeding but "burn" in this case is a misnomer.

IMO, you don't need to flush and you don't need to feed more. If I were you I'd check the runoff pH and see if it's too low. (That's what I suspect at this point.)

It's not that bad at this point. The trouble is that hot or low pH will cause the onset of a Mg def to get worse.

:)Thanks DiscoBiscuit!!! I did what you said and the ph was 5.8? the pot was rootbound too so I re-planted her in fresh soil and today I can see a difference!! the leaves are springing up and green has lightly returned...Thank you!!!
Here are pics of the clone and my new AK48 that just sprouted!! Plus a couple of bud shots:)

picture.php

here's the AK right before i put her in a soda bottle till she's bigger:tiphat: it only took 16 hours for her to germ:) So the next run will be the TW on one side and the AK48 on the other:) That should be a blast!!!
picture.php

you can see the leaves have perked up which is nice...the same thing happened last time so I am very grateful to DiscoBiscuit!!:)

picture.php

buds are getting larger now:thank you:not to mention sticky as anything:)still less than 30 days to go:dance013:
So what do you think about cutting any of the upper leaves??
thanks everyone!!!

If you cut any leaves, just take a few at a time. Otherwise you'll increase the chance of stress. I'd consider not just the largest but most crowded.

I'd be surprised if your big plant has a runoff of 5.8. That's low enough for hydro. You can grow in soil as low as ~6.2 with humic acid (liquid karma) and/or humus (mature compost). If I don't have these at the ready, I lime the soil to 6.5

thanks DiscoBiscuit!! I really have'nt cut many leaves so I'll just cut accordingly..do you think I should use calmag?
hey everyone!!
its day33 of bloom now and things are looking great!!:dance013:

picture.php

the cola's are staring to really fill up now..grateful to have that side lighting:thank you:
picture.php

there is a TON of sugar leaves too:tiphat:the way things are going, it looks like I may have a handful when she's finished:) the burns you see on some leaves are from the T5's...I've been trimming them so they don't get worse...

picture.php

candy coated nummies..lol...:jump::groupwave:
picture.php

overnight this bud almost doubled:)
I was trying to guess what I might get weight wise but who knows?? i am mostly happy she is healthy, strong and that I am learning alot:thank you:
Thanks everyone!!
take care
