It's way too early to tell, you'd have to wait to see what it's like during flowering. Vic's mix included seeds from his strains and seeds from his experiments. Lots of C99 crosses. Most of the indica's he worked with were Romulan, Grapefruit and DJ Shorts Blueberry. Check the underside of the leaves, stems and stalk for blue/purple veining which would indicate a Blueberry cross; also check out the smell for blueberry, grapefruit or very unique, stinky Romulan. If your plant happens to be Romberry watch out! It has a rep for pumping out lots of hermies during flowering.
Thanks for the info. I'm pretty sure that indica is a blueberry cross as it has purple in the stems and from the smell. It is a male plant. There is another male that is more sativa and smells kind of like pineapple. I also have four others females that I think may be something like the Orange Crush.
Hansel, there is lots of good info archived in vic's old BCGA forum at www.cannabisworld.org/vbportal. To me, one of the interesting things about his strains is their place in cannabis history. He started with the best of the really great worked strains of the time such as C99 and Blueberry, crossed the best examples of these to produce some kick-ass strains that are now being worked on by a lot of the new breeders coming up. And to think, it all started with the power of the internet, created for us by the US Gov't, lol
CG, the info is "highly" appreciated. Yes, from what I have read, Vic did some outstanding research and development. I'm really happy to have some of those genetics. I have had these seeds for about 2 years, and finally decided to grow them. I am going to try to make some seeds so I can save the genetics. I have been trying to read everything I can find about Vic's work and BCGA.
