I finished these plants about 5 months ago.I figured some of the members might like to know a little about the results from this new seed company.
The Barney's Northern Lights was an easy plant to grow. Most stayed short and managable with a few reaching 3.5 ft.The growth was typical indica with wide leaf blades and a light skunk odor. The odor stayed on the mild side through flowering and would be fine for a stealth grow.
I think there was around 6 or 7 females and 3 of these showed good purple coloration during flowering. All specimans showed good trichome development with a few showing more than the others.I enjoyed growing them but did not keep a mother due to it not meeting my criteria for potency. Not to say that potency wasn't good,,,they just didn't stand out for me.Everyone has there own preference and although I want a good Northern Lights I couldn't find the plant for me personally.
Do not let this keep you from growing some out as you will be happy overall and they were a little different from what I have been growing over the last couple of years.
The flowering time was from 55 to 65 days and all females were harvested in this window.Grown in soil(Pro-Mix BX with Worm Castings) with Flora Nova and Original Pure Blend for nutrients.
