Hi Dubi!

I want to ask You about some of my BANGI HAZE future crosses!

I live in Central and Eastern Europe (46-48 Latitude), and we have mostly rainy, and cold weather when the autumn comes (after end of september). I wanna got some good, early finishing, outdoor seedstash with mostly sativa, and resistent genes (mostly against mould, and cold). :)
I have seen that Esbe have grown BANGI HAZE in Denmark, and I was very happy with her result. I realized that this strain will be very good for me.

What do you think, that which varieties would be the best choice to cross with BANGI HAZE?
I want to use one selected B.H. male, and the following strains. (All are selected phenos).:

AK 47
BUBBLEBEERE
DEEP CHUNK (Tom Hill)
ERDBEERLI
JACK FLASH
L. A. CONFIDENTIAL
MARLEYS COLLIE
NEW YORK CITY DIESEL
PANAMA (green pheno)
WHITE SATIN
edit: one more strain - one sativa leaning pheno of WHITE RUSSIAN (Serious)

You may have some recommendations for me?

Thank You very much!

Greetings!

^^yup...probably deep chunk is the worst choice of the list...:)

panama, marleys collie(probably more indica now days i guess..), nycd...

a good idea if space and time is no issue, cross indica and sativa, grow many F1 seed, and make more seed until you get what you want..if you grow enough seed you will find a numer of plants that finish to your climate.:)(even deep chunk x's if numbers are big enough id guess)

maybe mextiza will work also?:chin: i think some oaxacan flowers n hours of light as opposed to hours of darkeness fwiw..

Have you grown any of the selected strains outdoors?

I have no experience with what's on your list. I would say pick your favourite plants.

If you want to have early finishing, then you have to cross the Bangi with something that starts flowering early. Apart from that I would look for outdoor bred strains, creatures that already know what's up under the sky.

My picks were GuerillaGold and a Bangi/PurpureaTicinensis cross from Esbe, when I was looking for just the same thing as you.

Good luck bro.

Hello petitgrower,

I think bangi haze is a great choice to start your breeding projects for your northern rainy weather. It's highly stabilized and it's our most resistant sativa against cold and all kind of molds (almost inmune to oidium). You can cross bangi haze to almost any commercial strain to improve the outdoor resistance and add its electric kind of high and anised aroma to your hybrids.

Ak47 and Deep Chunk are quite sensible against botrytis so i would avoid them for this kind of outdoor breeding projects. Diesel is also quite sensible against oidium. Jack flash and marley's collie sativa phenos should be a nice choice (i enjoyed a lot this hybrids when sensi released them more than 10 years ago but dont know how are the lines right now ....). I can not comment about LA confidential or White satin cos i have never grown or smoke them.

Bangi Haze x Panama would be a great hybrid, should be a very powerful and high yielding sativa with dense resinous flowers and excellent mold resistance althought maturing around mid October. Barbanegra did a great recommendation crossing bangi haze to highly stabilized northern outdoor strains like ErdPurt or Guerrilla Gold.

Good luck and thanks for trust in our genetics for your breeding projects.

Thank You Guys, for Your comments! :tiphat:

Ur Humbl Nr8tor. Thank You for Your advice! I looking for big, fluffie buds! :D

Rusty420. Unfortunately, my place is small, but the major part of work going to outside.

Barbangera: I want to get this lines right now. :)
Of course, i wanna make in the next season, an outdoor test grow, with couple of strains from the list - especially, to see their behavior (resistance).

Thank You Dubi!

The appreciative words, and nice pictures about plants, represent themselves! :)

I also think, that Bangi Haze x Panama will be the best. I love the sativa Divas :D !
To the outdoor testgrow i purchase Panama, Erdbeerli, Jack Flash, Marleys Collie, and White Satin. I hope Jack Flash, and Marleys Collie are in the sativa side!

Maybe Erdbeerli will be my choice to stabilized outdoor strain, if it is indeed so resistant to mold and cold weather. What do You know about this strain? I read and heard so much good things about it. Erdpurt is Erdbeer x Purpurea Tricensis. I'm not sure, that Erdbeer and Erdbeerli (from Alpine Seeds) is the same?!

This pheno of White Satin is allegedly very good, and quite resistant. For me is allso important, - in some crosses; the low odour. Thatswhy i choose in part, the White Satin.

Thank You again Guys! It was very helpful for me!

Peace!

Thank You Bohempian! :tiphat:

I have read after this problem, with Erdbeerli, and my conclusion is the same as Yours. It must be a self pollinated clone. Can be olny in feminisiert form be purchased.

I must choose a different variety. (I thinking on Chronic)

Peace!
