Band of Brotherz/ bay area hip hop?

Does anyone from the bay area have any info on these guys? not really into hip hop,but the track( back to the river) is a cool song. I caught this song on xm/ sirius and really dig it. definitely have MJ influence on their music.

I just took a listen - alright but not exactly my style. Perfect background smoking soundtrack kinda music - not something I'd listen to in the vehicle though, ya know?
