I've just wired up my 250W ballast and lamp, just wondering if someone more edumacated in electricitology could give me the thumbs up

Hoping to plug this baby in tomorrow

What type of ballast is it?

That wiring diagram is not correct for a HPS or MH...

What don't you like about the wiring?

It's a K-Hika made by National, bought here in Japan, with the matching bulb. I earthed her, used one of those safety plugs and let her go this morning, I was pretty confident I had it. Seems to be working a charm.

I remember having the same problem on overgrow when I first wired her up 3 years back. I'm only testing it today, still have probably a few weeks before I have the entire setup ready. Any feedback appreciated.

Ahhh....didn't realize it was a japanese light. What on earth is a K-Hika light?

Typically HPS lights have a cap and ignitor wired inline and MH usually have a cap...that's why I figured your wiring was incorrect.

K-Hika is just National's name for this light, I think it translates to "stick me in a closet and grow some kickass dope"

Yeah, it ran no problems for an hour this morning, so I think it's all in order. It's puzzled a few before too. Cheers
