Ballast Plug Does Not Match Up With Hood.

Hey, new account I always researched here through google because there's a lot of good knowledge so now that I'm stuck the time has come.

Anyway, I got a Magnilume by Maverick sun, and the hood plug does not match the ballast. It's a 400 watt magnetic I got a long time ago I was hoping to use. Is it possible I can get these to match up somehow without getting a whole new ballast? From what I gather most plugs match the hood so the ballast's female end is the weird part. I found this plug adaptor but I'm pretty sure that wouldn't work. Any ideas? Thanks.

the patch cable in the link is what you need, just make sure you get the proper
male x female cable for your application

Yeah it was hard to find a picture of the prongs but that doesn't fit, I think I am just going to save a headache and get a new ballast.

One of those is a ground and not critical. I have had this issue, and just forced it by bending the plugs. Also, hydro store should be able to rig something up from their old equipment that gets traded in.
