I cant get anything from those pics.as long as the bal;last is mounted securely and the box is grounded there should be no problem.When I used a 400W MH I used a 12 by 6 by 6 inch sheet metal enclosure with premade knockouts for the power and lampcords

I'd check out the transformer can at www.1000bulbs.com. I just got there 600 ballast and got one to go along with it.

lol...2560x1920 and the picture is still out of focus.

Try stepping back a foot or two, make sure the focus is correct and take the picture in a lower resolution so we can see what you're trying to show us.

Use a metal mail box from home depot. They work great and only $6
