have about 5 different strains of trim - just wanting to use 2 bag :
73 micron to get the the bullous and sessile trichomes (you catch nothing but resin)
160 microns to catch the mid-grade - that "stalked trichomes ( a little green)
The maybe the 220 to catch everything else for cooking
any thoughts will be appreciated ( didn't want to run the whole bag set because i'm lazy)

I know what you are talking about friend. I've been so lazy I used an electric drill with a cake mixer attachment attached where the drill bit goes, to break trichomes loose. The more you beat it the more it has green impurities and less quality. So running only two bags the largest micron first and then the smallest micron last will yield a good hash quickly. Keep us posted on how it turns out.

220um is best to use first as it will filter out the plant material and is only used to filter out contaminants.
160um is the first filter to catch usable material that is best used for cooking. Food grade.
120um is the first filter to catch trichomes and heads with very little plant material. High quality.
73um has very clean trichomes. Very high quality.
24um has only the bulbous heads of trichomes. Food grade.

I'm going to wash about 5 pounds of fresh/frozen flower and will photo document the activity. I purchased an 8 gal coffee brewer container with a conical bottom and a big drain valve for washing the cannabis. Also purchased two 5 gal bags of 220um that zipper closed, for washing the material in the 8 gal stainless brew cylinder. Then once it is washed it gets drained through the 160-25um filters. I have found that the second wash yields a while bunch of the silly sauce!

Keep us posted on your success!

I will - might do 3-4 minute shake on the 73 --- then same for the 160 - this way I''ll still have some for cookies ( right the trick is "no" green !!!)
