5 days old, any ideas what it is?

sorry for the crap quality, its a phone camera.

EDIT: I should elaborate, I'm just wanting to know if its a sativa or indica strain (if there is a way to tell from this young age).

It pretty much impossible to tell at this stage. But don't worry it won't take a long time when it easier to tell is it sativa or indica based.

hi & thanks for replying hitchhiker.

is it OK to give them 1/4 strength nutes at this stage? they are in "seedling mix" with no added nutes.

They don't need the nutes so most will say no.

I'd wait for the first real set of nodes, and when the cotyledons start to go slightly light green/yellow...

hahahaha.

Honestly it's gonna be pretty impossible to know what your bagseed is. I mean you can KINDA know by leaf structure, bud development and maybe smell, but even then it's IMPOSSIBLE to know exactly.

That's why we need the cannabis genome project. So all newbs can run a quick DNA analysis of their bagseed plants vs. established potent strains

well, I didnt get the "dont feed" response till just now because of time differences.. I did feed them last night approx 12 hours ago (1/4 strength) and I kid you not, they loved it.

first signs of them enjoying it was the stretch tot he lights. I woke up this morning and they have had a BIG stretch.

I will go take a photo and post it up.
