I'm 7 weeks into flower..what is this gonna do to the ladies..will it throw them off?

If you have 2 of the same, switch bulbs and see what happens. That should tell you if it's the bulb or the ballast.

Will cutting your light in half effect the girls ? Of course.

My friend says that actually it will affect them in a positive way. he has been experimenting with cutting back on light in the last 2 weeks of flower to cut down on terpine degredation in order to enhance flavour. He says that he doesnt experiance loss in yield as the structure and growth are already completed.. his method is to turn off "some" lamps and move others futher away from the canopy...

you might want to examine this theory further for yourself, but I'm trying it

I noticed all my buds are already dense and full (Im on week 7 of a 10 week strain)

Week 8, 9, 10, ill move the lamps away another 12 inches, just for shits and giggles.

And for the record my ballast is fine and my bulb burnt out. (2) hortilux in just 3 months.

thanks for the tip on hortilux... I'll be sticking with my SonT's for now :D

(just realised your ballasts are digi too... glad it was just the bulbs then )

Yeah, I had a Hortilux burn out after just 3 months on a 250 watt Lumatek. The Hortilux can't take the high frequency of a digi ballast. Tech supports recommends Ushio bulbs. I got a Ushio for my new 400 watt Lumatek. Unfortunately, the Ushios cost about as much as the Hortilux.
