The strawberry ak47 are seeds I found in last years harvest. They were free seeds from Serious Seeds in last years Kali Mist and bubblegum order. I thought they were F1s from a Tony greens sour bubble male I found late in last years grow. But looking at its growth and leaves, I cant see any expression of sour bubble in any of the 3 plants. So Im thinking the Strawberry Ak47 hermed and produced these seeds. I always hear of mistakes producing legendary strains, so I rolled the dice. From what Im seeing so far, the growth of this mutant is better than my long time keeper, Sensi star. It looks like that transgender Algerian boxer, Imane Khelif in this years Olympics.... shes beating the shxt out of these bytches and she pisses standing up.

Ive been a hydro grower for 15 yrs( bio buckets ) and Ive known for a while of the benefits of a robust root environment; high water circulation and oxygen. This is why Ive never been a soil guy. But after reading up on total organics for soil and its benefits, Ive decided to switch up... Boogie brew is on the way.
Found balls and hairs 1 of 2 Sour bubble X Chem 91 (tom green) cut it down.. herm.. or trans.. whatevers the correct term, its gone..

* The last of Tom Greens Sour BubbleX Chem 91.. not looking bad but the hermi really put me off. popped 4 got 1 solid female.. after a hair cut
* Lemon Cherry Gelato (runtz).. still not recovered from clone cuts.
* the legend, Gorilla Glue #4... right behind SLHz and loving the Cali sun..

Man you guys that can grow outside make me jealous.
Its looking like Lemon Cherry Gelato cant take my hot soil mix. Ive already taken 2 sets of clones from SLH and GG4 that I planted at the same time but LCGelato still seems to be slow to grow... Will repot to a less heavy mix and see what happens...
I like to grow everything to its maximum, right on the edge of burning... this comes from my fast paced love of Hydro... soil is slow but rewarding.
Still learning this strain and my heavy hand was a little to heavy this time.. Chem91 X Sourbubble also a low feeder and quick to stress then hermie..

Im from the Georgia/ Florida region of this nation and Ive never had issues with bugs or more specifically.. Spider Mites!. The only thing Ive had to worry about back home were deers and hogs. Mite seems to be a California issue...
I have a couple of theories on this matter.
1. California doesn't get enough rain and the mites can multiply and sustain their colonies longer. 2. California doesn't have enough insect predators; ie fire ants, wasps..etc
3. Because of the many grows taking place in California, the mites seem to have developed MJ specific versions of themselves.
Regardless, my last grow was killed by mite. Ive been using neem oil religiously this grow but I'm still not satisfied with its protection. I'm ordering Humboldt Flower Shield... If anyone knows about this product or has something better let me know.
