Backcross autoflower

Hello to all. I want to create my own autoflowering varieties adapted to my climate (Brittany, 47° north). if I pollinate an autoflower with a photoperiodic male it creates an f1 generation. if I use the best f1 males to pollinate an autoflower of the same variety used for the first cross, what will be the autoflowering percentage? thank you

Here's a visual representation.

The white squares (pp) are autoflowering (it's a recessive trait).

On the left is your F1 cross - no autos. On the right is your backcross - half autoflowering.

OK. it doesn't save a lot of time to have an autoflowering variety.

No time at all is saved but you'll have twice the amount of autoflowering plants to work with (compared to inbreeding the F1 generation which will result in 25% auto in the F2 generation).
