Hey guy's decided to head to Amsterdam again next week before they go and crack down on the freedoms even more (ie smart shops).

I know the town pretty well since i have been there a few times over the years.

I would like to try something a little different this time. I am looking for advice as to places to hang out that have a older crowd (25-40) that could hang out drink some pint's meet some easy gong people and maybe shoot some pool. (Locals / or tourist)

Also any coffeeshops with wifi??

Any locals out here that could give me some heads up, would be very much welcome. I am just looking to kick back and relax and have a good time, and meet some friendly people.

i did some research and came up with a couple other places one can play pool, and meet cool crowd. Does any one have any opinions in regards to these places?

One more question... sorry guys.... but is there any nice pubs to meet down to earth older (25-40) dutch girls?? they are so beautiful. can any one recommend any? Just looking for nice people, not up tight people.

Also if any of you guys are canadian, i would recomend you goto www.airtransat.ca right now and check out the air fares to amsterdam till the end of october... your eyes might pop out of your head! LOL

Thanks for all the replies guys!

I just had to put my dog down last week and need to go and cheer myself up.

Now i have been there quite a few times, but i will ask you guys this... If you were going back what places/things would YOU do if you went again (and why?)

just filling my mind with new idea's so i continue to become better acquainted with my second home! LOL

P.s. it sucks that you can no longer get a beer is a shop now. I hope this anti-freedom trend is stopped soon.

uncle sorry to hear about your dog...my dog is getting there to
ill have to take a trip to dam or somewhere when i have to put him down.
