Hi guys, so I'm back growing outdoors this year with a couple of strains. I gorilla grow outside and have two spots, last years spot I'm using again was very productive, I'm hoping this year will payoff again. Also there is a new spot that is a bit risky as you can see it from the field it's on, I'm hoping the combine harvester bloke is having a off day and doesn't pay attention to my girls hidden amongst the nettles. They are above head height on a mound of earth, I'm sure I will have to bend them over to keep them hidden. I only put them there because I had a few left that needed a home. The original spot I was hoping to use is patrolled by the ribeana corporation every day, whilst I sat scoping the field out I saw multiple trucks and people checking me out. Protecting their black currents. In the winter when I found it nobody was about and it looked abandoned. This is why knowing the land your growing on is a must to have any luck. Even then gorilla growing is about 40% effort and 60% luck.
My normal site is a thorn bush that is massive, I have hollowed out a sort of tunnel that leads to a open piece of land in the middle, I've been building the soil up for about three years now. I've turned horse muck into all my old indoor soil mixed with the native soil. The nettles grew real thick and tall at this spot so there wasn't much need to adjust it to much but it's always best to at least add a little shit in the winter especially if your using the same spot over and over. Last year I ended up with a few 8 footers from the soil so it's all good. It's also next to a cesspool so I would think some of the juiciness seeps into the ground. I'm a bit concerned about a tree/bush it's a elder and blocks the sun out for a good three hours a day, but to cut it out would draw attention to the spot, I've been so tempted on numerous occasions. If all goes well this year I may chop it in the winter, see how it goes.
Anyway that's a small outline of the more interesting things I've been doing, I also have a indoor tent but that's not as exciting as the outdoor gorilla style. Lol. Peace
