:wave:Hey folks! It's been a very long time since my last posting. A security issue and getting over a failed love relationship had caused me to take a break.
But I'm back and very much looking forward to cultivating this fine herb again! :woohoo:
So, without further ado, I give you the ECSD and Sour Queen.

ECSD

Sour Queen.

There are 14 plants total under 1000watts HPS. 5 ECSD and 9 SQ's. Grown in ProMixBx, with perlite, worm castings, Jamaican bat guano, some lime added, and beneficial bacteria and mycorrizae. Thus far, they've just been watered with plain water. As needed, we'll be using the Earth Juice line that we have bubbling in a 5 gallon bucket.
For those who haven't grown ECSD, this lady stinks, even in veg. And that Sour Queen is super bushy, it's growing in the shape of a round ball. This SQ has really tightly spaced internodes.

I think we're going to veg for just a couple more days before we flip the lights to 12/12. They're about 8 inches tall right now. They've been supercropped several times, so if they hadn't been, they'd probably be closer to 18 inches or so. We're limited by the height of the room, so we're trying to grow as wide as possible.

I'll be updating the photos a couple times throughout their cycle.

Hey grizz, thanks. I'm using 3 gallon grow bags. So, I fill them up almost all the way with promix. Then I add about 6 cups of perlite, roughly 4 cups of worm castings, 2 heaping tablespoons of lime, 2 tablespoons of the bat guano, and 2 tablespoons of the beneficial bacteria/mycorrizae. And then I fill the bag the rest of the way up with promix, dump it into a tub and mix thoroughly. Then, of course, put it back into the bag

I think I may slightly reduce the amount wormcastings I use next time. I got some slight "ram's horning" for a few days after I transplanted.

guerilla1018-trust me, I can't wait to be able to PUT UP pics of these girls in flower. :yummy:

Day 38 Update

Day 38 Update

Here's an update on the grow for those who are interested. We've been flowering these for 38 days now. The Sour Queen has about 25 days left to go and the ECSD has 47.

The queen is frosting up wonderfully and is starting to fill in with buds really well. She's got a rather sweet, candied smell as opposed to a lemony, fuelly smell like I thought she may.
So, here's Sour Queen:

And here is the ECSD. I really can't wait for this one. I don't think any of us around my neck of the woods have been fortunate enough to taste her after going a full 85 days. She doesn't stink too much yet. She's just now starting to fill in with buds. The ECSD has actually been a little nitrogen deficient, a problem caused mainly by me just being out of practice for so long. But we think she's still looks great.

Bake_McBride-No I didn't make the beans. That guy RezDog did. A friend of mine bought about 30 or so of those seeds awhile back and kept a few different moms.

eleda-I can't wait for her to fill in with more resin still! She's got plenty of time to do so, so she should look even shinier in a few weeks.
