Hi there yall.
This is my first sort of grow diary. Got a couple of grows under my belt and this year i dicided to do a grow on my balchony.
Decided on a couple of strains.


So I got em down in 10L buckets with a small hole drilled about 2cm from the bottom for drain. Hydroclay in the bottom and then a mix of proper soil and perlite.
None of the Short Ryders germed, so fu*k em!
The Ruderalis Indica was started a while befor the others and they just look great, sorry there is no dates on the pictures but i will try to post pictures as quick as i take them from now on.

And about 1½-2 weeks later:

Got a great germrate on Big Buddahs Automatic (feminised), BUT first and last time i bought femmed beans, and this is why:


Thats what i call ballshit!
Great germrates on the Sour60's and the Lowryders tho.


The bigger plant in the back is a Ruderalis Indica that got topped by the dog, she's real fond of my babies. So fond that she even ate a couple of my small seedlings. DOH!

The male got culled tho, and the dog ate 3.
But i still got like 2-3 unpopped beans left.
So im doing a crosspollination between the automatic, lr mix, s60's and the ruderalis indica later on.
But this run is for sensimilla.

I gets quite annoying being the only one posting in my own thread (ok almost).

Interesting grow. Pulling up a chair. Gonna grow sour 60 myself. Also some Buddha. Not sure about the deficiency problem. Have you checked ph? Are you giving them to much water? Have had plants look a bit like that when they have been getting to much water and the grow medium have been off in ph.

Is that Hans Scheicke as your avatar? lol...havent seen him in a while.

My water here got a PH around 7, and the soil is Hasselfors Blomjord, so its about the better soils we can get around here. PH in it is about 5-6 if im correct but my mind can fail me sometimes.

Could be a bit of overwatering, but i was guessing that the temperature could be a bit low sometimes. But the stay inside the apartment during the nighttime, and get out around 10 o'clock in the morning when its about 15C outside.

Well my guess is over watering. Is it hasselfors P-jord? If it is the u-jord it could be to much nutrients at this early stage. But i wouldnt worry to much. Think they will be fine. Ph 7 isnt ideal but i wouldnt panic either.

Maybe you could get some ph-down and add to your water?. I like to use Hesis Root complex with all my autoflowering strains in the early stages. It adjust the ph in the water and really kickstarts the plants. Have been working great for me. But there is a lot of similar products out there.

Hasselfors soilmixes have great ph-values for weed so that shouldnt be a problem.

Try to go easy on the watering and maybe remove the leca for a while. Keep em warm so they dry up and maybe poke some holes in the soil. See if they looks better in a week or so and go from there.

The PH in the water is not a problem, i use it on all my plants. Even the indoor ones and theres not even a flaw there.
Got the whole hesi series but im running organic nutes on the outside one, but its only NK, but ofcourse they are not in use.


Its the hasselfors blomjord, so i'd guess that it got a bit more nutes in it than the U one.

absolutely beautiful, outdoor is the best for mj, it's a big shame I'm too freaked out to make one on my balchony... I stay on fourth and last floor, balchony sun exposed from dawn til dusk, but directly facing the main road. and then I have fear of what could came from above... last, my neighbours: they also have a balcony and I'm afraid for the smell, right now I have an indoor fps grow in its final stages, and the window faces directly on balchony: the outcoming smell is outstanding. I can only imagine if also the plants were outside!

Buy a portable greenhouse for your balcony, works wonders
