AzaMax vs. Einstein Oil

Plain old dyna-grow neem oil worked great for me! So I refuse to pay more for less. You have to use neem oil correctly and shake it up before every spray. It can be a pain in the ass, but I think it's the way to go for like 6-8 plants or less.... since you have to cover them and repeat it can get labor intensive.
If I had a larger grow then I'd probably bust out the concentrates like azamax, and god forbid floramite or avid!

I run 2 3x6 SOG tables. I had spidermites last summer and tried neem and the pyrmethrin bombs. Floramite SC was the only thing that worked. If I ever get them bastards I'm going straight for the floramite. It didnt do a thing for my aphid infestation though. The azamax seems to have worked so far. The aphids suck sooo bad. They get suck in the crystals and make the buds look like shit.

I had mites one time......put azamax in a pump sprayer and drenched all plants including all the undersides of the leaves....never again. :joint:

It might have been something else because......

It might have been something else because......

I used azamax at a little over full strength on these ladies....

and her sister...

As you can see I had no stunt in growth....:tiphat:

Have a good one...:joint:

I didn't have any growth stunt from flower room, but I'm in the middle of harvesting. Only noticed the stunt in veg. 9 are Satori clones that were transplanted to e&f for veg 2 days before spraying. The others on my veg table are BOG bogglegum and Joey Weed C99 f2 xWW. I also sprayed my sour bubble and pure power plant, which had just popped like a day/ day and half earlier.

AZAMAx is made to be used in the root zone at 1 ml per gallon, much more effective than foliar....
Got that straight from GH.

Just go to this thread and see what the Recommended application rates are for the Different applications it is meant for...

here is the hydro Table just to show you that u can have different concentration levels based on the severity....not just a baseline of 1ml a gallon.

Have a good one.

My good friend is actually the canadian rep for GH and we talk to the chemist directly on the phone whenever we need. We where actually discussing this 2 weeks ago.

You will have ill effects on your crop if you over -indulge Azamax.
It is very important that the ph of the azamax solution be between 6.0 and 6.4 for optimum penetration and efficacy. The spider mite actually has to suck it from the tissue to be completely affected and not just be drenched in it. It all starts with their mouth piece.

It works very well on thrips as a foliar spray.
As a foliar spray, you can go anywhere from 2.5 to 10 ml per litre depending on plant sensitivity. Again, ph is of utmost importance.
The soil drench is also good for fungus Gnats.

ps: if you canget pure limonene, add a pinpoint to the mix and gaze at the results...

I would say water your coco with a 1ml-gallon solution of azamax, not with nutrients, stand alone. Adjust ph at 6.0 to 6.2.

Foliar a solution of 5 ml per litre to start with, than 3 days after, foliar a 7.5 ml per litre. Adjust ph 6.0 to 6.4
3 to 5 days after, re-spray with a 7.5 per litre solution.

It is good to perform a 5 to 10 ml per litre 35% h2o2 foliar spray the day after you applied the product.

good luck

I have a small amount of spider mites, am 5 weeks from harvest.
I have Einstein and Azamax. How do you spray it without destroying the buds?

Mix as directed for foliar application. I use the strongest recommended mixture so I can spray once a week. Mixing it weaker usually means I have to spray twice a week.

Anyway, mix it up in a spray bottle (preferably the pump kind with a bent nozzle so it's easy to get the underside of the leaves!) and go to town. Make sure to spray when your lights are OFF as the girls will burn up after this spray in the light! I spray right after lights go off.

After some time to use both Azamax and Einstein, and nothing else, I'm gonna keep both on hand. Azamax because it kills the fuck out of existing mites, and einstein for when there are tons of eggs. Azamax does nothing to the eggs, einstein smothers them ;)

Also Azamax can be applied up to 1 week before harvest where neem shouldn't be applied less than 2 weeks before.

Pretty sure it'll kill fungus gnats but I always suggest having a sticky bug trap hanging on the wall. The flying gnats seem to be attracted to those and willingly fly to their demise :joint:

Fuck!! We have Mites out here at the Collective--
My Employer brought me some Einstein Oil...I, nor he, has ever used it-- I'm spraying right now, just took a break, lol (There are 408 4 foot plants!!)
Hope this shit works, cuz I don't really want to do this twice a week!!
I tried to get them to use Floramite weeks ago, but we are too close to flowering now, and I don't feel comfortable using something that strong/potentially harmful, this close--
