Automatic watering

I was wondering if anyone could suggest a reliable automatic watering system for a small number of soil-based plants. I plan on running 2-3 plants in 5-7 gallon pots. The system would need to work for no longer than a week.

Check out the blumat thread. I'm frequently out of town about 10-12 days a month, and they work very well if set up properly.

blumats are really good if you can set them up only problems I have heard about if they are incorrectly set due to user error !
