Autoflowers under 12/12?

I've always wondered, how do autos fare under 12/12 light? I'm doing a seedrun with a few himalaya blue diesel plants and they look like they're about finished, but I've also been vegging a couple normal strains and need to put them under 12/12 soon. I could stand to wait until the HBDs are done but would much rather let them finish under 12/12 if it wont hurt them.

On another note, these HBDs fucking reek. Nearly every week I have to add more carbon to my filter or else my room starts to get ultra stanky.

The only difference would be to the amount of bud the plant grows in shorter daylength (from 24 - 20 hours down to 12). So 40-50% of your growth for the days you keep em under 12 hours instead of longer days. If their almost done you wouldn't see much difference, maybe smaller seeds.

I moved 8 snowryders from a 400watt MH on 20/4 to a 600 watt HPS on 12/12, about 2 weeks ago. I wouldn't say they are suffering at all. Will be my best yeild yet from the SR's. I attribute it more to the 600 but there is no lack of bud growth. The one that has been in there the longest has a coke can main cola.

finishing them under 12/12 would be just fine, no problems at all. infact, afaik it should help mature your seeds faster and ripen the buds faster.

remember that on autumn equinox which is harvest time many places, that the day is equal in length all over the planet.. its 12/12 on latitude 70 north aswell as on the equator. ;)
