Hey guys
I normally wouldn't post something stupid like this because there are such a wide number of factors that can play into how much water plants drink. But does anyone have any estimates for how much water an autoflower (specifically, himalaya blue diesel) in soil drinks per week?
I ask because I'm going to be growing with 5 gallon buckets up in a tree. Each of the buckets will have 3-5 hbd females which will be watered by a blumat dripper, which is supposed to give the plants water whenever they need it. The blumat needs to have a reservoir above it, so I'm also going to be putting a 2-7 gal rez up there. Right now I'm trying to figure out how big of a rez I'll need. I want enough water to sustain the plants for at least a week in hot drought conditions before the rez runs dry. Any ideas? Any input'll help because i've never grown these in soil before.
