Heyas!
I really haven't a clue how to search for this trait in autoflowers... so I'm asking to see if anyone else has a few links that would help me out.
I'm looking for an autoflower strain that's a decent yielder and sometimes throws a female that's “almost” an autoflower... meaning she needs a half hour to an hour of dark to trigger flower.
Anything up to about 5hrs of dark would be best.
I have a VERY short growing season and (through root warming) it would be possible to throw up a 2 month – 3 month flower variety.... once a year. I don't have enough of a growing season to veg outdoor so I would essentially be vegging 24/7 through winter... intro to sun in the spring and flower would trigger right away.
The plan is to sprout 10 seeds at a time in 24/7 lighting to get ones that don't flower. Take clones... throw originals in increasingly longer dark periods until their flowering trigger is found.
I don't care if it's an indica or sativa since it's going to be used for topicals.
Any and all input would be greatly appreciated.... steerage to appropriate threads with additional info is even more appreciated.
Stay Safe!
