I have a question about genetics. I originally bought Black Creek Gardens - Spyder, it's an eight generation Sputnik 2.0 autoflower.
I grew the seeds and made some of my own with a male and female I got from the pack. Since then I've grown multiple plants from the seeds I made and they have been completely uniform, same smell, same structure, same colors and they have always autoflowered. However I found a plant from the seeds that DID NOT autoflower, I kept it in veg for a couple of months and turned the huge plant into cuttings. I am now flowering the cuttings and so far they appear very similar to the autoflowering plants, but their smell is a bit stronger, same, but stronger.
My question is, what exactly are the genetics of this plant, is it a Sputnik 2.0 or something completely different, since it's apparently lacking the ruderalis part of the genetics. Should I still call it Spyder? Also, why would a plant suddenly lose it's autoflower trait?
Here's a picture of one of the buds, it's been about a week and a half since the pistils started to appear and about 2 weeks since I switched to 12/12.
