Wanna do a autoflower sog in 1 gallon or less pots, preferably 2 liter bottles to fit more into my small 2'x2' space. Which strains can still yield quality smoke with restricted rootspace?

Autoflower SOG... Root Restriction???

You can yield quality buds with most AF's in a 2 litre pop bottle,
You will have to water probably every other day in flower when they are really drinking it up.
If you cut a UK pop 2l bottle at the shoulder where it starts to curve then they are pretty tall pots which AFs like.
Previously i've been starting in 2 litres and then raised transplanting them into a 4.5 or 6 litre, but for a SOG with higher numbers providing you keep them well fed and watered they should do well for you.
I popped some secret citrus along with my last grow just to make up numbers.. and i ended up just keeping them in the 2litres as i didnt have space to pot them up, and they still got to two feet tall. yield was 15-20g's from each.
Had to supercrop them twice though as the other AFs i was growing were only 40cm tall. They didnt recieve optimal light either as they were at the side of the rest of the main crop.

Thanks mitch... You and 20/4 are full of autoflower information. I am trying to decide between the pink bud, secret citrus, and nyld. How is the smoke on those secret citrus'???

I haven't grown NYLD so couldn't comment on that to grow or smoke but 20/4 could.
cheesey gets very nice yields from them, although he grows them very well and in coco.. so i couldn't comment as to how they would do start to finish in a 2 litre.
I'm yet to smoke PB so can't help you on that, but it's been a breeze to grow so far for me, doesn't seem to be a fussy feeder, and I measured one today that I have in my secondary space - that is 23" tall, 1 litre til sex then into a 6 litre square pot. And it is on 10/14 lighting.
The SC took some abuse, i didn't feed it enough and the pot was getting very light every watering and along with the above conditions for it that i mentioned in my first post it still did very well!,
The SC smoke was nice, definet citrus taste and smell. (when other people were smoking it I could smell the citrus twang in the smoke) Good potency, quite cerebral high at first but if you keep smoking it you get the knockout factor

Im working with a DR60 tent (2'x2'x5') with a 250w hps... Im doing a seed run with some sour60 and after that I want to do a maximal herbage pull before the summer heat. Gotta love the autos for the speed... Problem is that I cant decide what strain to run as I dont believe the Sour60 will have good germ rates immediately after harvest and I would like to have the next strain already vegged for a week or two so that I can knock out 2 runs super quick. Hope that made sense : )

Cool my old cab was just a shade bigger than that in floorspace but more like 4 ft height.
I could fit about 40 (pre-sexed) in 2L and about 16-20 potted up in there dependant on strain. - I hope that's correct my memory is drawing a total blank on the actual number of 2 litre bottles I could fit in their! - either way they are very efficient pots for size/SOG ratio.
Yes normally you will get much better germ rates after a few weeks to let them dry etc.
Depending how long they are matured in the buds for.
Pick something quick and SOG ready and you will be laughing

Check out the Automatic Hindu Kush from Lowlife too.
Decent smoke and it dont branch out much or need lots of root space so 2 litre bottles should work our great for a SOG with them.
Plan on doing a run of these myself in a little while with a cabinet just a tad smaller than yours

You know I keep hearing that!, its more or less what it says in the description too, but mine that I grew out a few years ago now were branchy little bushes! Not single cola dom at all really...?
Nice chunky buds though.
I grew out a mixpack from that breeder previous to those A-HK and i started them in 1 litre sq pots double potted into another 1 litre at sex and they were all single cola dom other than having little sattelite buds. Maybe that was down to root restriction.
It can be a fine line between stunting them or not if you start playing that game though.
Otherwise i've found most AFs love to branch out at least abit..
I started mine in 6.5 litre which they finished in too, this was under a t5ho light.
