Autoflower feeding question

I had a question about feeding autoflowering strains. All of my other plants are photoperiod plants grown in the TLO method. So I'm used to giving straight water and teas. Im going to be throwing some autoflowers in my veg tent, and I'm not sure whats good to feed these. I wouldn't try TLO with these right out of the gates. I'm just looking to supplement my flower supply with some faster finishing strains. I've really amped up my doseage lately, so it can be a little tricky when you're growing 10-12 week sativas. I'm not concerned too much with quality for the auto's. That's what my primary crop is for. That being said, I know I said I'm not concerned about quality, I should clarify. I'm just looking to grow good autoflowers easily. I've found quality is totally dependent on the individual. There is a lot of stuff out there that I would consider unsmokeable, but it seems as lots of people are ok with it. Preferably organic, well, organic only. I've recently had a bad experience with synthetic nutrients. Now I'm strictly organic. I was thinking of using something like the Earth Juice line of organic nutrients. If anyone has experience with growing autoflowering strains organically I'd love any input/advice.

yujin, you have the right idea. Plant the autoflowers in whatever medium. Slowly introduce veg nutrients at 1/3 strength after a few weeks, work up to half strength, with just water very 2 watering's, then nutrients. You are using organics, so go lightly, then top dress as plants become larger. I've not used Earth Juice but have heard good things about it. I'm sure others here can guide you along the way organically.

Since you are already growing photoperiods, whatever you are using in flower/bud stage is what you'll apply during flowering of autos, from 3.5-4 weeks on after showing first signs of gender.

There a lot of great auto strains out there, so do not assume you'll get mediocre finish in taste, effect. Many rival their sisters of photoperiods, or hybrids that are quite nice in high, stone, to say the least. Experiment, learn from your mistakes. Autos are a fantastic way to go!

The two mistakes people usually make when starting to grow autoflower strains...over fertilizing and over watering. If you watch those two , you are bound to be surprised of the vigor of autos, especially the last several weeks changing daily towards maturity.

Thanks for the input I'm not actually feeding my other plants anything. That's why I was asking what to feed the autoflowers. I got tempted to try some out after seeing how vigorous the growth is. And for the simple reason I could just put them in my veg tent and get flowers from them. My other plants are in an organic soil mix where they just get straight water. I know that soil is good for those plants. I didn't want another plant to have to dial in to a soil mix. I just wanted something to fill in the gaps for my longer flowering sativas. Plus I've heard that autoflowering strains are usually higher in CBD. Which can help with some of my MS symptoms. Although, I haven't found as much of a dramatic relief from symptoms as some people have, I would say it's better for my symptoms than low CBD cannabis. As far as over watering and over fertilizing. I think those are probably two of the biggest mistakes of a novice grower. I have done both in the past more than I would like to admit. So I think I'll probably be ok in that department. The one comment I used to get from my friend that started me into growing was "are you sure you're giving them enough food?" Maybe I wasn't, but at least I didn't go overboard. That's usually how I try to operate. So you're saying to start feeding bloom nutrients 3.5-4 weeks after they start showing sex? And I am guessing it might be a good idea to taper off the grow as I amp up the bloom over the course of those 3.5-4 weeks. Rather that just switch it over totally in one feeding.

When it comes to autos if you want the best and biggest yield start bloom nutes when you see the vert growth stop or slow allot..then start with 1/4th nutes for the first week then move to half then full strength..I use TLO but add nutes in flower..I give a lil cal/mag every feed under my LED/HPS growing...when it comes to quality and potency ..I think you will be floored by your results..LOL get Newer strains that have smoke reports and grows you can see..dont go by breeder specs..I havent read one that ever said their gear wasnt good lol ..If you grow with your 12/12 you will still get smoke but it really cuts the autos yield short..best to grow them while you are vegging photos..then 75-80 days put the photos into flower then you will get max from both..or make a auto flower room and veg them all together...dont think autos arent potent or great fast producers..maybe 3 or 4 years ago but now ...BOOM!
