Are you saying you water with PH 7.1 or is that your tap water PH, but you adjust it before using. If so please state what PH you actually water with and if it is 7.1 you water with than that is too high my friend. With that PH , you may have a slight nute lock and the result is some burning. Bring it down to around 6.2-6.5 but no higher and just plain PH adjusted water next time.It is also possible your soil mix is alittle hot too but that is only an assumption.
If you search on Biogrow you will find that it is quite strong thus always mix fert on the low side if not half and i'm also speaking from experience as the first time i used it by instruction, I burnt my plants bad.Good luck.

Peace,
Jazz

JazzJazz: Yes, my tap water is 7.1, i havent measured the water after i had nutes in it.

So you think that it is my PH that is too high?

Yes Troy your PH is too high as it stands...Measure it after you mix with nutes and record..Then water and measure runoff from your pot to see what it is when mixed with your soil and record. Adjust your water and or water/nute mix so that when you water , your runoff will be between 6.2 - 6.5 in soil. Some strains can stand 7.1 and some can't. It's best to keep it where it should be and get the best possible nute uptake from your ladies. And again as a reminder...be VERY easy on the Biogrow as it's very strong.
Hope this makes sense to you and good luck.

Peace,
Jazz

JazzJazz: Thanks again for answer. I've just checked the runoff and it was 7. My tapwater was suddenly around 8 (!).

I filled a 10liter bucket with water and added one tsp lemon juice concentrate, new pH is now 6.5.

Is it my pH meter that is f''ked or can tapwater change its ph with 1+/- over night?

Does water that stands still (same temp.) over night change pH?

CORE: It prolly is, but dont you think you will get better yield/quality running a little nutes in the soil?

Hello again.

Here is picture taken today, pH runoff is now 6.8. I've watered it last 2 times with pH 6.5. The plants are yellowing very fast, i see huge difference from day to day. Is this anything i should be conserned about?

To fert or not to fert, thats the question..

Peace :joint:

Did you check to see if they are root bound? That container looks like it may be to small, they look like they need some nitrogen.

Hi Troy

"Is it my pH meter that is f''ked or can tapwater change its ph with 1+/- over night? "

pH will swing over time for sure mate... even a few hours and certainly over night

Now, I'm on my first grow and so you need to double check what I'm about to say - but some amount of yellowing on the lower leaves is totally to be expected during flowering - espeically towards the end...

happy growing

canned abyss1: They are in 3.5liter pots. Im not sure if they are root bound, i'll post some pics of them here very soon so you can see.

Jamieshoes: Thanks mate. I didnt know that about pH. I know the plants will yellow tru the flower stage, the yellowing started really early.

Good luck with your grow :)

Here are pics of the roots.

I just checked the runoff pH again and its still 6.8.

I water with pH 6.5, should i go lower to get the pH in the soil down faster?
