Auto Shot Glass Comp.

So I'm bored and want to do a little shot glass compitition. Once I see if we get enough people interested we can figure out all the info. I am thinking a standared size single shot shot glass (not a double) what ever grow medium you want to use, what ever strain you want to use, any light and light period. basically something fun for use to do. Anyone interested?

I know a guy who grows trees indoors hydroponically using 2" net pots, although they don't get more then 2" in diameter.

no, i was thinking a shot glass. just something fun to do. i know you wont get much at all off it, but if anyone has a spare bean or some bag seed and want to do a little something on the side for fun.

Now, couldn't you say something like 50ml, or the amount in terms of a shot glass? There's absolutely NO drainage in a little glass... not to mention the huge problem of keeping it with enough water in most environments where people are growing weed.

But hey, I'll look around, see if I can find such a glass, and try. I believe I may have that much space to spare. Why not? Hey, I'll humor ya. Starting now.

I like the spirit of your comp, but maybe a pint glass would be more interesting/realistic?

I really like the shot glass idea, or whatever the equivalent container size is. Wicking is always fun because you don't have to worry about low moisture too much. I would certainly join you if I had the opportunity at the moment. There's certainly room for creativity such as micro homemade smartpots. A lot of room to learn as well, a slight increase in root zone efficiency will certainly be easy to spot.

haha yeah a shot glass is 1.5 fl oz for anyone that wants to know... also i have taken it upon myself to have already start mine as i didnt think anyone was going to join in, but hey join in and lets see what we can make outta this.

I am doing a double shot glass grow myself. I am using just worm casting for medium. I figured that was about as small as I could go and get any yield at all *lol* I have it posted over at AFN.

Double shot-glass is do-able, but single shot glasses are EXTREMELY hard and you need suitable strain to accomplish it, having said that, I'm in I'll try doing it with M-39

im going to cut some plastic to go around them within the next few days as the roots have really started to go nuts.... its nice being able to see the roots develop tho...

I wanted to do this, but I only seen the thread like a month ago... and it says that it started on the 25th of septemeber. 120 day time limit... I was to late to get in on it... but next time around I will, and for now I shall watch.
