Auto Hydro Lets Go

Hey All, This is my first grow using some of the auto seeds I got in my last order from Herbies. Currently I am running three Jack Herer autos along with one Heavy weight auto. Though the heavy weight auto was stunted from birth I kept it in there just to see what would happen. My system is a combo DWC and Drip system, commonly called "Bubbleponics", basically a heavy duty sterlite container with netpots, drip lines, and pumps but it works well. The light is a 600 Watt HPS with a cool tube connected to a 16' can filter and a 280 CFM fan on a controller set around half. I also have a sprouting/mother box from photoperiod grows with CFL's and a 150 watt HPS with a different hydro system to get the babies going. I'm away right now so I can't post pictures but I should have them up in a day or so. As for nutes right now I am using some GH Florduo Grow two part formula supplemented with some Floura bloom. I'm not super invested in these so if anyone has a suggestion of better nutes let me hear em!

My grand plan is to get this system running in a slightly perpetual motion, start seeds when the crop in the tent has about a month left, out with the old in with the new ;)

Problems I have run into so far: Autos, especially in hydro systems, are more sensitive to nutes than I thought. For the first two weeks of their lives I just gave them RO water that was PH'd and then moved to half strength but they weren't feeling it so I swapped out the water and gave them 1/4 strength.
Had a little issue getting the PH's to remain stable but with more constant checks it seems to be all good in the hood.
One of the drip lines was dripping on the stem and I wasn't able to catch it for about a week or two so the bottom of the stem looks a lil funky but the rest of the plant is dark green dankness.

In terms of training I avoided all high stress scenarios, no topping, FIMing, or super cropping. I tied two jacks down and left the third to grow as it just to compare yields. The two that are tied have abundant bud sites now and the pistils are lookin goooood :dance013: They're only a couple weeks into flowering now and are just slowing their stretch so I have to lower the light or raise the platform to get them a little better light distribution.

Pics coming soon so stay tuned
Peace
