Small plants, decent yield, low odor and a nice stone.

Hope this helps

Grows about 20 - 30 inches tall with solid buds. Low odor, great taste and great stone. One of my favorite autos.

auto hindu is great, small plants, no smell in growing even though the resin when u touch it smells like heaven, easy to feed. good high, i want to breed the seeds, have yet to do it but i want this in my collection. the smell is the best but thats at a millimeter away from the bud

Awesome!!! Now this is why I love icmag. Thanks for the responses guys. Im glad that STONE was emphasized. So small, low odor, dense buds, and a stoney high? 10 week finish?

be very careful to not root-bound them; they will end up 10" or less ('bud on a stick') without proper room in first couple of weeks

Auto Hindu Kush

So I recently finsihed a grow with some of Lowlife's Auto Hindu Kush and thought I would post a quick write up about my experience with it as there doesn't seem to be much info regarding it. Take my experience with a grain of salt though, because this was a seed run and I had limited phenos due to poor germ rates.

Seed Quality: This is one of my knocks against this strain. The seeds were of poor quality with many small immature seeds. Considering that these seeds were a bit expensive for a non-fem variety I expected big, healthy looking seeds. I only got a 60% germ rate :moon:.

Growth: The seeds that did germinate were the picture of health and grew quite vigorously. I was growing these along with Mdanzig's Sour 60 and SGS's Pinkbud. They grew larger than Pinkbud, but smaller than the Sour60. However, both other strains finished faster than the Auto Hindu. However, this was a seed run so that definately messed with the finishing times. I ended up taking everything at 10 weeks.

Harvest/Yeild: Ok. This is where the Auto Hindu shines to me. It yeilded dense little kush nuggets. It definately looked like kush. I could only imagine how sexy they would have looked with the calyx swell if I would have grown these as sinse. However, not a big yielder. I think I averaged about 7 grams per plant in 1 gallon growbags of organic soil under a 115w LED.

Aroma: While growing these did not smell at all unless I rubbed the leaf or squeezed some nug :). When rubbed you get a faint lemony/petrol odor which I loved.

Smoke: Remember that this was fully seeded bud that was picked somewhat early. With that in mind, this is some smoothe tokage. Super smoothe smoke with no expansion. Slight lemony taste on the exhale. The high is also very smoothe. No initial rush, just pure relaxation for the mind and body. Only lasts about 1.5 hrs for me though. Very good for chilling in the evening.

Breeding Material: As this was a seedrun I thought I would also share my thoughts regarding the AHK as a breeder. Out of the 3 strains I was running I chose a AHK stud to father them all. No intersex flowers (S60 :moon:) and stunk of burnt rubber/petrol. I used this stud to hit up a female OG Kush as well... WOO!!! Will update at a later date once I test results.

Autoflower: Of course it did.

Overall: I would give this strain a solid 7.5. Would rate it higher if seeds were better quality, price was cheaper, and the strain was more stable. However, I believe there are some gems lurking in this line for potential hobby breeders.

I grew this some years ago now- Around 3 I think (bad memory)

The beans I had were large and mature. I still have 4 or 5 left somewhere.

They were very branchy for me, which I wasn't expecting. They grew as wide as they did tall (30cm-ish) .

Produced dense little round nuggets, which had very thick pistils.

Grown in 6 Litre pots under 100w of T5HO, sorry don't have any pics and all the above from memory.

Thanks Krull...

Mitch,

I must have gotten a bad batch of seeds. The f2 seeds I made were litteraly 2-3 times the size of the originals. They definately make some dense little nuggets.

I currently got some ahk goin in my micro cab, got about 1 square foot of space and about 2,3 feet of height, got 138 watts of cfl that gives 8,1 k lumens.

I started with 15 standard seeds, put em in small pots so they would all fit, ended up with 9 females that i put into bigger pots, i suspect they had too little root space in some of the pots i used so some of the plants turned out far smaller than some that had sligthly bigger pots. The biggest is about 1 foot atm, smallest like 4" looks like bud on a stick, altho that little top is gettin pretty fat now.

They are about 6 weeks now, starting to get more fat, at 3 weeks they showed sex and started to bud pretty quickly, ive been feeding em organic nutes since they were about 4 weeks old and they seem to like it, also gonna add some hesi pk 13/14 soon so they get a bit fatter!

Seems to be very low-odor plant, i barley smell em unless i rub em. I got my seeds of a forum that had a buy/sell/trade section, excellent seed quality 100% germ rate.

i grew one last grow it grew about 100 cm high smell was great in the last few weeks it was a very strong smell ! yield was not great but still good just over an ounce from one plant one of the best autos smell and strength wise that ive grown im sure you will be happy with them !

I grew this a couple of years ago when it first came out, it was sold as autoflowering, but wasn't. It ended up being about 6 foot tall before i had to switch the lights on to 12/12 to get some flowers on it. Apart from that, smoke was good, nice dense nugs, tasted quite earthy.
