Not new to growing by a long shot, havent delt with any autos since they first came out ....when they really sucked...anyways...done a few autos outdoor with my main phenos for a little early treat.

Now, ill be ...the leaves are telling me harvest time, the pistils are all turned, trichs, look mostly cloudy.....however, the flower size says diff....calaxes are super enlarged and leaves yellowing.

What you guys think? Getting close?

Looks pretty good to me. Especially the latter two photos, is that the Alen Candy?

Were you expecting bigger buds or what is the issue?

That is a trait of autoflowers. Low yield unless they have been grown perfectly from day one without stress. That plant looks nearly done to me.

Nothing serious , just some i put out for a early bird harvest while the big girls develope.

How would all you auto heads compare an auto version of something to its pheno original on terms of potency and original terpines. I know autos have come along way, this is first Ive done since 2009, lol

Comparing the auto versions to the "original", I'm not sure if it gives a good impression because even though they just add the auto suffix to some hype name in their marketing, to actually do it one must first outcross and then do at least a couple generations of selective breeding to get it fully auto, during which it could really go many directions depending on the breeder(s) and their skill, resources, and goals.

But the Fast Eddy I'm growing right now is one of the stronger smelling plants I've had in my tent for a while (mainly grow photos). Terpene wise it can go toe to toe with anything. Not harvested yet but it's a lower potency strain based on the breeder description. I have not grown any high potency autos but based on the forums I do believe they exist.
