Auto-Guerilla 2010

Hello everyone from a totally noob!
As the title says, I'm planning an unattended outdoor grow of autoflwering girls for 2010.
There are some things that I cannot change at all. Actually the only variables are the strain(fem only), the soil and soil preparation.
The plot(s) will be in Europe, with an average of about 5 deg in March and 28 in July (celsius, i thing that's 42/80F, right?). Tomatoes are growing extremely well in my area I can say!
The plants will be trabsfered outside around 15th of March and I will be able to harvest them 4 months later. That cannot be changed at all...:(
For the moment I'm looking at some AK47 crosses, being the ones with longest period from seed to but...that's it, i'm looking for LONGEST period possible from seed to bud for auto as well as one of the highest yields. Also i like the buzz of AK47, so this will be a win/win/win situation for me.
I know that some of the plants may die before flowering but I will take chances. I will lose some $$ for seeds and other stuff but at least I will gain some experience.
Now the questions:
1. How long before transfering outside I have to put the seeds for germ?
2. There is any better strain for this particular situation?
3. Is there anything that i can do to keep the plant in veg growth longer?
4. What will happen with my buds if I will harvest them 5-6 weeks later than recommended?
5. Any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance and sorry for my poor english!

Either I been smoking to much and completly miss read your post, or you got your auto flowering wires crossed. autoflowering plants take around 8-10 weeks from seed to harvest, not sure exactly what would happen if you left them for an extra 2 months after there harvest date but it would most likly invole 1000's of fem seeds in your smoke, thc that has lost alot of its potancy and pretty dead looking plants.

Id do it anyway if it was my only chance at free smoke

Your english is not that poor mate :)
Like dargo said, leaving your fully ripened plants won't increase yield. It will shock the plants and make it hermi.
You will also have more chances of rot and other diseases.

Harvest as soon as possible, and do another grow !
This is what AFs are good for outdoor, multiple harvests in the same season.

I wouldn't advise you on leaving them totally unattended, unless you are SURE that they will be getting the water they need.

Thanks guys!...Yeah I know it's about 10 weeks max for AF, but that's my only chance for a "free" smoke. I'm not looking for extra yield by leaving them almost 2 months extra. I will have no chance to harvest them at the right time. I will leave the country in march, I'll come back in July. I'm trying to avod "normal" strains because i'm afraid of polination, a lot of wild ruderalis around...:(

Figured as much.
Now is the time to get to know your next trusted best friend that will harvest for you when you're out :p

There are some AFs that take a little while longer outdoors...

i dont know anything about semi autos apart from reading a few a few threads on this forum with them mentioned. they might be better for you. if its seeds in your weed you dont want growing regular autos will pretty much defenetly give you 1000,s growing under your cercumstances

Why he's leaving or returning coming or going? Why? You can't be serious.
Good luck with your autos pac fan. Stay safe

One possibility would be to start under floro shoplights for one month at 24 hours, then set out for a month to finish. If you have a month of grow season before you leave.

^ he's leaving the country in March. If your trying to avoid useing regular non auto strains for fear of pollination, what makes you feel the native ruderalis won't pollinate your feminized autos? I'm pretty sure they will if that's a realistic concern. ( less chances being low to ground?) they will be flowering at the same time I assume. Now either way. If it were me I'd plant some regular feminized ( or clones) before departure in march. Upon return in July I'd then plant out your autos with two harvests in the fall. Unless your leaving in September :)
Good luck mate, seeded bud is better than no bud :)
Grow on!

Thanks Rodney!
I was thinking that AF started in march will finish before ruderalis starts. They are everywhere here. The good thing it's that type of plant seems very common to everyone therefore my plants will not look so "exotic".
Most probably I will start some normal fem in March, keeping the AF for July and hoping to have at least one harvest till fall. Anyhow I will put 2-3 AF as well in March, just to see how the buds will be.
Anyone knows when male ruderalis start and stop flowering?

I think the temps will be low enough to really prevent the plants from all out growing until into april. So you could probably count on adding an extra 3 weeks to any of the usual auto strains.

I usually never see actual ruderalis with pollen until july. I've never even seen sprouts until late may.
