Well im going to make an attempt at an outdoor grow for the first time ever also i have been indoors growing hydro for the last few years so my dirt knowledge is very badly remembered. i went to my hydro store today and bought 2 7lt pots and 1 bag of foxfarm lightwarrior soil 2 start i plan on germin them directly in the soil in the pots i have so transplanting will not be nessessary i plan on starting them in my current veg area under 24/0 light indoors' till they get a decent size to them when i feel they will be capable of handlein the elements the strain is auto blueberry now a few?? i need to know as i havent touched soil in over 12 years. i know they soil has to be moist and i have to put the seed 1/4in deep now does the top of the soil have to be moist or should i run a gallon or 2 of ro through it so that it drains out of the bottom of the pot or a light mist keeping the top of the soil damp be best untill it gets larger? secondly when i do water how do i figure out how much of a nute soup to make im used to making it in 50gals at a time for my rez in a 7 lt pot i would think i would be able to water with 1 gallon at a time and be ok or should i water untill i see run off and judge by that? please if anyone got any advice for me tips pointers lemme know what u think i have a feeling that this is going to turn out great but getting this goin is gonna be my biggest problem lack of self confidence lol thanks for all ur input in advance
ps i also have auto yumbolt that is not an autoflower i may put out as well
i know it is not reccommended to put 2 plant in 1 pot but if i use 5gal buckets im thinkin it should be fine as far as i heard because i was told that it is best to start autos in the ppot that they finish in and that a 5ltr pot per plant is best so 2 in gal would be like 25ltrs so it would be plenty big just a thought that way i could do both atrains without goin and gettin more dirt like i said before im a hydro guy and have 50 5gal black buckets everywhere so i plan on drillin some holes and using them as pots if nessessary
also my nutes are gonna be the same as my hydro i use AN conni-line with all the extras with ro water with 0ppm 7.0ph
please i would just like a kick in the ass to get this going with some pointers best of luick with all ur grows

nothin ??? im sure im gonna be aight ne way
:tiphat: I think it is coz you asked so many questions at once..
I'll try to answer some for you
But..
I cannot be Blueberry specific coz I haven't grown them myself..then maybe someone who has grown them can jump in.

I always germ my girls straight to compo..
but..I did mash a set of LowSnow by doing this..
so maybe a Blueberry grower can tell you how they germ.

I always use plain Universal compo for germination.
I avoid anything pre-ferted...IMO..it kills or stunts seedlings.

Fill your pot to the rim..then gently tap the bottom of the pot on to
the ground and it will settle your soil in without compacting it.
Water the soil...soak it enough for run off..this will eliminate air pockets.
Place the seed on the soil..cover with a light layer of compo..
then drizzle with a watering can rose.

IMO..AF's grow better in the pot they are going to finish in. Everytime you transplant..you put a stop on the plant..
and every stop you put on her lightens her yield.

Don't be afraid to put multiple germinations in the same pot.
They enjoy being multi-potted..and you can either pull or cut any unwanted males out of the pot no problem.

my biggest problem lack of self confidence

No m8..just chill with them and you will be Fine.
They are such Rewarding plants...
and..
we have ALL cocked up with them..
so if you make a mistake you are in Great company...:good:

Drill plenty holes in your pots..they like to be well watered..
But..
they like to Breathe a bit as well.
(V similar to hydro...passing water...)

I normally find that once AF reach sex..they will take almost anything that Outdoor conditions throw at them.

Speed and Safety with them.....:clover:

I grow Blue Streak..Maybe thats close to what u got?..IDK..I do know u should follow these directions mossy has laid out for ya...

I do however transplant to ground after sex, or to new pot if indoor..But i dont know if this is always best..mossy im sure has several more grows under his belt then me...Good luck to u..Keep us posted
