Auto ak outdoors

I'm thinking about picking up some auto seeds along with my order for this summers grow. I see that the auto ak47 is said to have to biggest yields. I'm wondering in a 10 pack of seeds whats the probability of getting one of the 50 + gram phenos? If i do indeed get the autos i would like to do a small seed run indoors first to have plenty of seeds to put outside. So is that auto ak a wise choice or do you have another suggestion?

I haven't grown the auto AK, but have grown the AK x blueberry. Yielded about 2/3 ounce per plant. Take a look at Mi5 and Onyx from *******. Both get bigger and yield more. I grew the Mi5 last year and averaged 2 ounces per plant outdoors.

I would say that out of a ten pack you are likely to get a large, decent yeilding pheno.

If you use this for your seed run and select the earliest, most vigorous male from the pack you should be in pretty good stead for some nice auto-outdoor AK beans.

What some people don't realise is that with autos, during that first seed run you can do one of two things, improve the strain or, like i have with Low#1 a few years back, make hundreds of useless beans (the dreaded micro pheno!)

Good parent selection is the key, especially if your doing one HUGE seedrun to last you a few years.

I now use 5 beans from a pack and carry out a small seedrun, gives me some smoke, a fair amount of seeds and the option to go back to the parent stock if things go wrong!

I heard the Onyx doesn't flower automaticly alot of times.

Looks like ill be taking a look at the Mi5 for sure, 2 ounces per is sounding good compared to other autos.
