Adelaide, Australia (AHN) - As reports have surfaced that potent marijuana could be introduced into Australia, state lawmakers have talked about banning drug paraphernalia.
At a ministerial council on drugs strategy meeting in Adelaide, officials discussed the merits of banning instruments such as bongs and pipes that are used to smoke illegal cannabis.
The concept of banning the paraphernalia comes as a new strand of marijuana could be landing on Australian soil which is stronger, supposed more addictive and easier to grow.
If bongs are banned nationally, it will mean the end of the stores that dedicate their sales to the currently legal products.
A source said, "It's quite significant because there has been quite a proliferation of these shops around Australia that sell equipment that's being used for the inhalation of cannabis."
Cannabis is currently the most used illegal drug in Australia.
BWAHAHAHAHA...... Oh man, this article is too funny on too many levels. Anyone know where I can get me a cut of this "strand?"
I wonder if it is related to that invincible Mexican plant from a couple months back. Or maybe to that "super-potent" "b.c. marijuana" that is "invading" America these days.
Holy shit. Maybe it's an F1 of the two! Christ, maybe I should be posting this in the "Strains and Hybrids" forum.
