Here is a thread for discussing audiobooks that are stoned compatible. That means whatever you want it to mean. For me something entertaining but doesn't take itself too seriously although I do have a few in mind that are serious but blow your mind kind of things. All of my listed titles will be in Englishas like many English speaker I only speak English and American. I chose audiobooks because I think it more compatible with the altered state of mind. I find audiobook an excellent way to help me get to sleep. Sometimes can lead to some pretty wild dreams as the narration can sometimes seep in.

Cunk on Everything, narrated by Philomena Cunk.

Rather than trying to explain what Philomena Cunk is just search the name on YouTube to give yourself a primer on how this books goes. The book is 5:38 long and formatted like an encyclopedia ranging from Adam and Eve to Zombies. Stoned or straight it will give you delayed LOL moments often. It's not very serous so it wont really matter if you loose place and plus has decent replay value.

The entire Hitch Hikers Guide to the Universe series. Aside from the first book, Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy, look for the version narrated by Martin Freeman. Douglass Adams was a master of Sci/Fi Comedy. The movie missed the mark a bit IMO but the books are well worth checking out.

Graphic Audio version of the
Widdershins Adventures Series. This is a four part series about a young women who has a God living in her head who assists her on life as thief in a French themed Renaissance world. Has a full cast like all Graphic Audio titles and sound effects, movie in your mind™. Great cast interesting story, with excellent story telling.

Audiobooks can be great if done well. Personally, I prefer audioplays. I was raised with these and I´ve gotten back into them in recent years, especially since I can´t take my TV into the bathroom anymore when I´m having a soak in the tub ;)

I purchased a play series about a handicapped private detektive who used to be a copper and it´s pretty good . I really like a whodunnit :)

Harry Potter.

Then you can say you're a Pothead and a Potterhead.

The reader who reads them, Jim Dale, is very talented, probably more gifted than Robin Williams at that kind of entertainment.

Those are similar to the Full cast audio books and the full cast radio broadcast.
