white widow strain, 2 gal pots, unfertilized soil, 3rd week veg 10in tall.
Good Bag seed, 2 gal pots, miricle grow seed starting soil (souluble nitrogen and such), 2nd week veg 8-10 in tall.

PH 6.3

So I've grown outdoors before. This is my first venture indoors. Everthings going fine i have a nice loose soil with lots of vermiculite. My question is when should i start feeding for both these different types of soil? I started feeding my white widows 2 days ago with 1 tsp/liter of water BC grow nuitreints. (like 3-2-3)

Would some of you guys be so generous as to list their ususal feeding regimin around week 2-3 of veg. I really am anxious im going to burn my babies!

I don't know about being an expert... lol

First let me say WELCOME TO IC MAG. MR.WATSOFTHUNDR !!! When it comes to veg your not going to need to fert. much.A good rule of thumb is to start out at half strength with the nutes..This is only when the over all vigor of the plant has slowed down. You'll be doing most of yer ferting in the flower cycle. If you've grown outside your going to freak at how fast they grow inside once you flip to 12-12.lol If ya have anymore questions jus post'em up we'll be glad to help ya!Good luck and again welcome to IC. Take care...BC

I think unless the miracle grow soil is heavily fertilized, you could treat both brands of soil as the same-

could you provide specific information about these 2 soil brands? then we can go from there.....

I would look into "Pure Blend Pro for Soil"......pretty much standard fare....

:ying: guineapiggin' can you dig it? :ying:

Thanks BC... I heard this was the new OG basicly. (which i used to frequent for knowledge) so i decided to post here being that im headiing into uncharted waters.

The miricle growing seddling potting soil is pre-fertilized with 5-1-5 (or .05%, .01% and .05%). It has mostly nitrate nitrogen and souluble ferts.

The other soil is supposed to be 0-0-0. (soil my buddy uses in his grow) (it seems to be peat moss, top soil, and perlite)

Anyway i added vermiculite to both the soil mixtures to fluffen it out even more.

Outdoors i just fert when my the bottom leaves shaded slightly yellow. But i want these plants to be better than my outdoors.

I use miracle grow soil inside and moisture control outside.....I also use pureblend pro as my main nutes...I use fish emultion in veg..they seem to love it..not really sure of doses. just make sure you get some perlite in the mix for good drainage....I'm sure some others can help you better...

Read your plants they'll tell ya what they want.

Read your plants they'll tell ya what they want.

You could try ferting every third watering and see how it goes. Be on the look out for signs of too much from the leaves;so dark green there almost black, leaf curl or aka the claw look,or leaf tip burn.If any of this occures flush your soil and go back at it at lighter doses.Don't worry about the MG soil it doesn't have enough nutes to amount to shit.Oh btw as stated above you should use perlite to lighten your soil, verm.won't stay fluffy and will compact after a few waterings plus it holds water.Wet compacted soil with no o2 = root rot and slow growth.Perlite on the other hand not only adds good drainage but helps hold oxygen in the soil and thats the key to heathy roots the more air the BETTER! Roots it's all in the Roots lol later...BC

ok this is what you need to do, seedling mixrture was these in there ever since you plopped the see in the soil> if so then you need to start feeding weekly at 1 tsp per gallon of water, not 1 liter you will burn them if you use that much!

Use 1 tsp weekly of grow and get some micronutrients, indoor growing is a bit harder where you have to tend to them where outdoors mothernature takes care of alot of its nutrient needs!

You will need micros that have calicum, magnsieum, sulphur boron, and the rest, cannabis loves calicum magniseum the most of the micros the rest they use a small amount of

yo Stitch,

got a check on both those. I have a generic three bottle nuit system i bought at a hydro web site. they contain all the goodies... Azote nitrogen, boron, ca,fe, mn, all the neccicities. I don't know at specific rates to apply and how often. I am a diabetic so i have milliliter syringes laying around. I'm gonna start using them when mixing my nutes. I think like 10ml = 1 tsp or something ill have to check.

stitch do u run 1 tsp per gal of tri nuits like me?

so i should fert once a week as prescribed with half dose? The bottle doesn't perticularly give the time between ferts.
