Attic grow in smlal cab, 55F temp issue

Hi all,

its my first time grow. My temps are getting as low as 55 degree's in the lights off period, which is between 6pm and midnight. Previously I had lights out at midnight to 6am, but that was even colder.

My plant isn't dead, but its stunted. What I'm looking for are any tips to help insulate the cab at night. Other than that my temps are fine...

I am not keen on running a heater up there unless I have to. What could I use to insulate it at lights out that I can get cheap or from around the house? An old quilt? Bubble wrap??

I'm open to suggestions!

Just have the dark period during the warmest part of the day. that should solve the problem nicely.

Thanks Old Soul. I have tried that but my attic at this time of year, the best I can hope for is low 60's. What I've done is for the time being put it into the airing cupboard and I'll move it back to its grow cab at lights on. The temps in the airing cupboard are 76 , but I'll need a more permanent solution for when I move it to 12/12 and it starts to stretch
