Attic Chronicles

đź‘‹ Hi ya gang!
Iam growing cannabis - not marijuana...

Ive been growing in the attic for a while now. And it makes me feel safe growing my small, not-harming-anyone cannabis plants. Its creekside, with fresh springs when the main goes dry. (Wish i could just grow it there)

I have a certain way of doing things and I'll be showing how i like to grow my cannabis here, in this thread. There is no "right" way and please, do not take this as a guide, instruction or advise on how-to -grow cannabis.
Thank you for joining me (V4vendetta) on the never ending journey of "Attic Chronicles"

Got quite a few of these sprouts, but this one is the thickest and shortest out of the bunch...

Hey brother thanks for posting.
Its f2s of (sweet tooth auto Ă— blue amenisa auto) Ă— GDP. So 25% will be autoflowering (dwarf auto (runt gdp male ect)... We have 51 sprouts so far.
Getting these ready in a stable room while temps in the attic subside to a level that can sustain plant life.
I am wanting a new light fixture in the attic for this winter's grow. Still looking at good options while saving cash.

I also have some blackberry spacewreck sprouts that I'll be uppotting today.

Hazemans purple elephant f2s are slowly comming along at about 2 inches high.

And for fun I planted some (dj short bc#4 Ă—88'g13hp) Ă— bcscNL5.

Burned them up a bit. But plenty of space to grow white, healthy roots.
Fox farm amended with super soil and water for a while until we get into larger pots and until some start to autoflower...

Finally burned one up to-death. Been given these straight water for 5-6 days now.
Ph is 7.1 in the organic soil opon checking a bit high but not harmful. Neutral ph rainwater is being used, and is much more gentle and soft then the water i normally use from the spring, but is less-pure source (in my opinion.)
Rainwater contains negative ions and those ions are beneficial to flushing out excessive salts in soils.

F1 mother of the gdp autoflower hybrid. Purples in veg, smells like candy, very sweet. Finishes very quickly. Yeild is lacking and is something that I'll be working towards in the years to come.

Just watch in winter wen it snows,no snow on ur roof whilst everyone else's is covered is a dead giveaway to a grow, good luck!,76
House was built in the 1800s. It wouldn't have snow on the roof if i wasnt growing. "Vail of poverty" comes to mind...

Seems the round-leaf tighter node plants, with thick, hollow stems turn auto. Might have one thats not a auto. A very recessive trait to find one photo sensitive.
Mutants have been observed. Severly mutated growth. Substems out-growing main cola and main cola points down naturally to give them more light.
Another mutation sported three sets of fan leafs at the nodes instead of two. All in all not many. Less then 5% to be culled due to mutants.
Runts have been slowly growing non burnt roots, several were auto males and have been culled. Any auto males with sub standard structure were also culled.
Less then 5 % again.

2 auto males, 9 females. Photoperiod plants; 11 (sex unknown).
Thinned more plants out due to lacking node structure and poor stem thickness.

Your plant looks good. If the EC gets high you can lower it by allowing a little extra dis-charge out the bottom. Rain water is very potent water.

Thanks for stopping into the grow, my brother.
Rain water is wonderful, but I know distilled water can damage old seeds when germinating and it's ppm is 0. I would love to get a EC meter that would be useful to make my soil mixing less trial and error but I think I've got a decent mix.
I will be adding some fresh crawlers from when i transplant so hopefully we will see a positive change in the comming weeks.

This is the biggest one ive let live. And is also the widest-node structure I will allow for these plants, at this stage of growth.

HIDs to stretch the water from the genetics. So the plants that refuse to stretch to the stretchiest lighting will be short-squat stackers in 100% LED for sure. And the culling as resulted in these plants.

So ended up with many photoperiod males. 3 or 4 females. More culling... But first I will do a thorough inspection of the remaining males while grading them on resin production and base-stem rubbings.
Second I want to document leaf variations in males and females for f3 references in auto and photo period candidates.
