assemble and dissasembleable fake wardrobe grow chamber

does anybody know a good DIY solution for a wardrobe that is dissasembleable, so that moving is doable by one person?

the need is a assembleable frame for a stealth grow chamber. kind of like post holes or like a fit together notch and groove type thing'

IKEA may be a start and the Hardware would have to be sourced elsewhere, as removable metal bits instead of wooden pegs that get stuck.?

the ideal is to conceal a 24in x 24in grow space or tent with a faux dresser or wardrobe cover, WITHOUT ACCESS TO WOODSMITH/CARPENTER TOOLS OR A RUDIMENTARY SHOP. i'd like to use plywood board but it is not as stealthy as a prefab looking thing or a gutted and reworked peice of furniture (but that would require tools and a shop and getting it right)

If you have a IKEA store in driving distance, there is no better way to brainstorm than their showroom.
I have this big one (for clothing) and it could definitely be made to work as a sweet grow box with some mods. But don't count on moving it. I took mine apart and moved it, it worked with a lot of luck, but that wouldn't work a second time. http://m.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/art/40250167/

i mean, if you get a grow tent and divide the height by two or three, and make the width and length about two inches over the tent specs, then you could cut out most of the box top of the bottom boxes and the bottom of the top boxes (and core the middle boxes), and put them over the grow tent.

i mean for super budget and functionality.

Can of Bliss, i actually was considering that one, or the other one similar. i figured though, that they expensive for me now. i was thinking of a way to put detachable pegs in the assembly, like the way some of the vacuum pumps have a quick connect system, but i don't know where to find that kind of hardware or if the cabinet even uses pegs.

EDIT: diagram needed false bottom

EDIT: diagram needed false bottom

I FORGOT, THE BOTTOM BOX NEEDS A FALSE BOTTOM TOO

edited diagram

the extra length and width room of the box size gives a little moving room for the boxes for positioning and for when removing and replacing them

ALSO, THE IDEA IS FOR DOUBLE CORRUGATED, so the durability is good

power cables could be run through where the boxes meet and a system for air intake could be a pc fan pipe, that, well there are many options to rig it up, i guess.

this idea is meant for protecting people from landlords and nosy people and for people who don't have alot of money and need to run more than one setup in those circumstances, for clones/breeding/flowering. and who need to be able to move it if they need to and do so alone. and who rarely or don't have access to a vehicle

on box jedi, 26 x 25.5 x 20 will get a cheaper price than 26 x 26 x 20

EDIT: the mother plants would have to be built into rubbermaid container units with a backup power supply to run a scrubber or odor eater CFL lights, for moving

EDIT: these are ideas for the described situation

I just saw at Home Depot they have some metal storage cabinets. I think they were Husky. 72high, 48 wide, 24 deep.

I don't know if those could be disassembled, but I do know that you can buy similar ones that you can take apart.

The Metal also adds some fire proofing.

I figured I would throw this out there as an FYI in case it helps.

Stack On also has cabinets, they sells them as gun storage or ammo storage. I bought a small one once and it was very easy to assemble and the metal is thin enough that drilling holes shouldn't be hard.

thanks

MurdaMishou, definitely, but i'm trying to grow bigger here.

SMS65, i checked that out, i saw the husky ones, and it reminds me of aeroponics bay from star trek voyager :), that may be alright to hack together if panels could be made.

looks promising but expensive, maybe possible

it looks like these two might be good options

Keter Multi-Purpose Rattan-Style Compact Shed

Item Weight (lbs.): 21.9

Door Opening Width (In.): 21.9

Length (ft.): 2.3 (27.6 inches) deep

Width (ft.): 1.6 (19.2 inches) wide

Peak Height (ft.): 5.88 (70.56 inches) tall

~$130
and it looks sort of elegant, haha :), or like it could be a wardrobe or something

Suncast
Model # BMC7200 30 in. x 72 in. 3-Shelf Resin Tall Storage Cabinet in Platinum

~$170

Assembled Depth (in.) 20.25 in

Assembled Width (in.) 30 in

Assembled Height (in.) 72 in

somehow, the keter picture is fooling me as it doesn't look like the dimensions listed, so i guess it could be that they consider the depth the width and visa versa, but still, it looks funky. i thing i'd/i'll go with the Suncast

if done right, it looks like the shelf could be set at least 48 inches and the top used as a 24/0 veg/clone/parent chamber using odor destroying CFLs (23W each) https://www.amazon.com/TCP-Energy-Saving-Generate-689232F2/dp/B00C5NCOXG
that way, the odors could pass through there on the way out a vent/scrubber at the top. it might help. i don't know though. as long as there was some way; like using scrub ninjas light proof vents, to seperate the two air chambers, like built into the shelf or literally, as a shelf, with plug/fluffy material at the rims to seal on the back wall and doors. there would need to be a balance of extraction and odor neutralization, but i guess a scrubber would still be needed after all. two 23W is 46W, so a can fan might be better, with a silencer improvised, and low Watt LEDs in place of the CFLs.

CARBON SCRUBBERS
building carbon scrubbers with Noctua NF A14 industrialPPC 3000 PWM (140mm) is more expensive then i hoped (but lowest wattage compared to other options i could find/think, ie: 2 fans is 12W, 4 is 24W, after initial investment), and louder than when managing a smaller chamber with smaller fans, like a PC (i presume) or 18gal rubbermaid contraption Noctua NF-P12 120mm fans and their industrial PPC 2000 counterparts work well there in a two under two over set up, and are quiet when driven over normal amps (over volt will destroy the, do not go above 13V). a CFL setup and all other lights off (less heat), might alleviate smell problems in an inspection. a note with the noctua carbon scrubber, a tamp screen will most likely be needed for making a two under, two over arrangement, with enough carbon to work with enough airflow to vent heat. in a 32 x 32 x24, a arrangement of two under (screen and carbon) fans (run at 12V 1A for two) and a currently open bed of carbon, pulls enough to vent and keep heat manageable in the winter. the carbon flies up, if there isn't enough and has to be spread carefully. with a 140W and 68W ---> 208W LEDs, the heat is around high 80s, 90s, good for strength training of non tropicals, and right at home for tropicals, but adding two more fans, over the carbon will require a screen tamp over the carbon bed. last check was 32% humidity and 28.1° C 82.58° F (humidity varies up to, i don't remember, high and low) and the temp changes on time of day, cool night and if the mini humidity sensor (ebay) is moved up or low in the cabinet.

I tried a Rubbermaid cabinet similar to the one shown sometime in the early nineties.
It glowed and shot beams of light in many directions, built a plywood box that served my needs for years that day.
Plastic cabinets suck and should be avoided in my opinion.
A used metal cabinet on the other hand works well and can be had fairly cheap these days. Some even come with functioning locking handle.

lol, if you don't have to worry about moving,

http://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-72...Cabinet-in-Black-Gray-KF3F462472-H9/204597567

All cabinets provide convenient grommet in back for power cord access to allow stored electronics to charge when cabinet is locked

:grin

That's the one I saw. I will be buying that in the near future. It looks big, but you can probably take it apart, or use it as moving storage when moving to a new location. The small one I have, I laid it flat on a truck and threw a bunch of stuff in it, and over it.
