As cold sets in, do these trichomes say "Ready"?

Wondering whether to cut and hang tomorrow before sunrise (for heady high). Nights dip to ~40ºF in central Vermont now:

Or do I have another couple days? (I can throw a sheet over them at night. Would that make the mold challenge worse?)

Thanks!

I'mback

Comfortably numb!
You can still see some clears in there but, OTOH because of your predicament, I would chop her down!

This is only my 2nd time around with growing, so I can't comment from "lots of experience"....

...but just my 2 cents. If the days are still sunny & relatively warm I'd let it go for a bit longer. 40 degrees overnight won't harm the plant, just slows things down a bit. Those trichomes do appear mostly clear. If there is still some sunshine and warmth during the days I'd let em' keep going.

It's been getting a bit cool in my area as well over the past 10 days or so.....down to around 45 at night but during the day it is still in the upper 60s/lower 70s and lots of sunshine.

It’s been below 30 a few nights in the past week I’m norcal where I am an the buds freeze then thaw out when the sun comes back out an keep getting riper every day. Let em ride.

40? I'm to your south and we're supposed to get into the low 30s tomorrow night and Saturday night.

That said, people are right, if it's only a night or two they should soldier through okay.

Looking forward to getting out of this rainy period. Good luck!

Thanks, Flying Monkey. I just chopped down any struggling with mold because it's been raining, often at night, and chilly.

Still have a few out though!

Thanks, all.
