most weed nutes including organic amendments contain some arsenic, it's naturally in soil, if there is a warning out it's because there is an amount found above a determined safe threshold, not there was none before and now there is some
get a brand of water that wasn't included in the recall
okay, i can get water from a local well, the water company involved is quite a distance away so the well might be ok, is there a diagnosis for arsenic poison in my plants, cheers for replies.
test your water source to be sure the levels of potential toxins are safe for consumption...
A lot of wells are naturally high in mineral content and should at a minimum be filtered but testing your source water is the only way to be assured that what you have is safe.
I did a simple ppm test, using my Milwaukee pH/EC meter, on a friends well.
The results were a well that tested over 1100 ppm in dissolved solids as well as a bunch of sand that could be quickly filtered out with a coffee filter.
At that point my friend stopped using the well for cooking/consuming and it was irrigation water only. Even using as irrigation water, one must remember that cannabis is an accumulator plant and will readily uptake any minerals that are available to it.
Knowing what is in your water could potentially save one or anothers life.
