Armageddon 47 from HGF

I'm still working on a smoke report for this one, haven't quite put my finger on it, besides very potent. I know the seed pack said 49 days but these ran for a good 67 days. I also wouldn't necessarily recommend this for beginners unless you have a lot of height in your grow room. The plants got taller than the other forms of AK47 I had grown in the past. Most the stretch occcured from week 2 to 4. The plants also were the type that stretched for the first four weeks with barely any budding, then just kept filling in from that point on. Overall I'd give the plant a thumbs up and can't deny it's potency. Yield was also excellent.

These first two pics are of two distinct phenos from day 35. The one pheno was one of the most crystalized plants I've seen in a while. The larger yielding one was less crystallized, but wasn't rookie material by any means.

Nice pictures Jim, and great plants as well. I am currently running Serious AK-47 and they barely stretched at all, barely doubled. They are under MH and HPS though, which prevents stretching. If you have a stretchy plant that you want to run in a shorter space, you should try leaving them under MH for the first week or two of flower. I like to run both spectrums almost the whole time though, as I find the MH produces denser buds and I like that.

What is the history of Armageddon 47, do you know?

I'm not sure of the history at all, just thought I'd give it a chance since I've seen the Serious AK47 and Nirvana AK48. This was a stretchier plant. I also share your view about the MH keeping them shorter. There were veged under a 1000W HPS for their last week of vegging (it helps them show their sex earlier), and under that lamp the rest of the way.

If this was taken outdoors I'd make sure to be in climate that supports a long fall. I felt this these took longer than expected to flower out and unless they trigger early I don't think they'd work for those in the far north or south, but for the rest of us, I'd say give it a try. The two phenos I saw both were very potent.

I guess I can only post every 5 minutes, and with 48 posts, I can't read messages from my friend, site must being getting busy!
